I just have one question for my regular readers.
Why was I ever told that my chapters are excessively long?

On a crossroad filled with zombie corpses a stunningly handsome young man was sitting on a heap of nine to ten zombies' corpses while shooting some fireballs at the zombies that were coming towards him. That young man is Haru and right now he was burning the corpses the corpses of the zombies in his surroundings. He didn't want to show off his kill counts and these corpses were also blocking the road, after all, they were around 1000 and it was a street, not a ground.
Even though it smelled bad he had to burn them, so he created a flame thrower like Takashi and released it from his palm, though his flame thrower was big enough to span 10m in a straight line. The nature affinity is a very powerful and dangerous affinity since it can be used to control nature which consists of air, water, fire, earth and many other natural things. This is also one of the reasons Kuroneko likes to stay close to him since his life force which is purest in the omniverse along with large life force and now nature energy. These factors make it hard for any natural lifeform to hate him, though he would still be attacked by the natural lifeforms that see him as an enemy.

As I burned the zombies and used natural energy to control the wind, I realized again how good this power was. There is a possibility that in future I might be able to control the whole world to fight for me or borrow power from planets to fight, The possibilities are many, but I also have time. So, let's not think about that stuff for now, it is still my first day playing with mana and I already have an infinite amount of mana. Now it's time to check my harvest…

'Good, now sell all the minor zombie regenerations stored in the inventory.' As I spoke of this my hands started to get itchy as I know this would give me a lot of points. Even though I believed in saving things for emergencies, I would still buy some abilities. In the end, the points are to be used for something, they are not decorations.

I nodded my head and moved towards Shizuka's place since the number of zombies I could see was almost non-existent. I kept walking while killing the zombies in the path adding some points to my already increasing points. When I reached there, I saw that everything was almost done. Shizuka even removed the barrier that she made with the trees, while Saeko was cleaning her blade. I could also see everyone was extremely tired since in less than an hour they killed almost equal number of zombies they killed while walking the whole day.
Yes, they had also done some hard work and slayed close to 400 zombies. I stole the crystal from the zombies as I could see Kuroneko had eaten her fill, then I lit them up in fire and kept walking towards the group. The whole street was filled with corpses without a place to walk, So, I had to keep the continuing my job of cremation.
When the corpses were burned and again did the same thing I did at the crossroad, though this time I could feel many dumbfounded gazes on my back. They would have thought that I was using some kind of wind ability, I wonder how they would react if they knew I was controlling nature.
Sigh… they will get used to it, I guess?
I turned to Kohta who was on the rooftop till now and smiled gently and nodded my head, it seemed he understood the meaning since he also nervously smiled and nodded. I almost fell in shock but continued listening.

Seeing this I nodded, and she ate the crystal directly, and I could see her Agility increased to C- since it was already at D+ max before she met us. Everyone looked at her curiously, though Alice and her father didn't know what I fed her.
Don't ask me how someone can grow D+ max on the first day, it's just how beasts are, there might even be some S-rank beasts from the first day. Like humans gain some very strong abilities, beasts gain power according to their lifestyle.
There is a chance that a lion who ruled over the forest would become a beast king with S rank power or a comodo dragon who is an undisputed leader of reptiles on an island to become a poison Dragon of S rank. That's just how Beast's power level system is. Though their becoming S rank doesn't mean they will gain human intelligence from the first day, it would take time, by slowly eating magic crystals and accumulating power. If my guess is correct then, there are at least 3 to 4 S rank beasts in this world right now.
[There are 5 S ranked beasts in the world right now.]
Sisty's reply confirmed my thoughts. I just hope their habitat is not close to an area where humans are creating their bases.
Then I looked at Mr. Maresato and spoke while extending my hand, "Hello, my name is Haru, just Haru."
"Hello Haru-san, my name is Kenji Maresato and this is Alice, my daughter." Mr. Maresato or Kenji spoke while pointing at Alice who bowed her head and spoke. It was not uncommon for people not to have a surname, Kenji just nodded. After all, he and I, both of us know that it is not the time for talking about that.
"Hello." I nodded my head and replied with a smile, "Hello to you as well Alice." She had a very unique ability.
"Just call me Haru, Maresato-san." I said turning my head towards Kenji, who nodded and smiled. Then both he and Alice stood up and bowed their head towards everyone including me.
"Thank you very much, for saving our lives." X2.
Both of them said together making everyone nod with a smile, feeling that their hard work was not in vain.
"It's alright, don't worry about it," I said while waving my hand at them who were still looking at me with grateful eyes. Then I looked at Shizuka who blushed when her eyes met mine, but I just gestured towards Alice, and she understood what I meant.
"Alice-san, come I will show you around the house." Shizuka came towards Alice and patted her head while speaking. Alice smiled happily, "Yes!" she said and held Shizuka's while following her cheerfully.
"Can you tell me what happened to you and is there something I can help with?" I asked Kenji after Shizuka took Alice to the first floor.
"No, it's alright and you have already helped me more than I could ask for." He said and became sad when telling what happened to him and Alice.
Till the time he finished, everyone was looking at him with pity, since he had lost his wife. I also didn't say anything for a while then said, "Are you alright?" I didn't mean it physically I meant it mentally.
"Yes, thanks to my daughter." He said and I remembered the ability I saw in Alice's status and frowned a little remembering the drawback of the ability. It was a powerful ability, but its drawback was also severe.
"Can you tell me about your and her abilities?" I asked carefully but seeing him hesitate I continued, "You don't have to force yourself; I can understand if you don't want to tell me." I had already seen their abilities and I didn't want to come off forceful, so I backed down.
"No, It's alright. I will tell you." He said with a smile. He seemed to be an honourable man, and if he didn't eye my women then we can be good friends. "My ability is elastic hands, D- rank, it lets me stretch my hands by providing mana to them and the other one is Written recall, C rank, this lets me remember whatever I have written somewhere." He said and seeing me nod he continued.
"Alice said that her ability Jolly Empath, U rank, lets her make people cheerful." When he spoke about his ability, no one had much reaction though Takashi did sigh in relief. He must be thinking that at least I am better than someone.' I had seen his disappointment when he knew that he had the lowest rank ability in the group, but now he must be thinking that maybe the group is just good.
It was when Kenji spoke of Alice's ability that everyone's expression changed. They knew how rare U-rank abilities were since everyone gets the general knowledge about an ability's rarity along with the knowledge of their abilities. So, they knew that even if they had already seen people with U rank ability didn't mean that it was not rare anymore.
"If it's a U rank ability then it must have more functions or this 'cheering up' must be giving the one being cheered some kind of boost," I said to Kenji and everyone nodded their heads even Kenji himself nodded his head, since he also knew the how powerful a U rank ability can be.
"Let's stop it for now. You must be tiered so you can rest here." I said after a while of silence and got up from the sofa.
"Let's bring the mattresses from my house," I said to both Kohta and Takashi and they nodded their heads. I gestured to Saeko to come with me, and she nodded. When we came out of the house, I stopped and turned to Saeko.
"Tell everyone to get a good sleep, since we will be moving out tomorrow. The area is almost clear of zombies, so I don't think we need someone to be on the lookout, but just in case tell Shizuka to let the trees cover the gates and windows with their branches." I spoke.
Since the stronger zombies were already slain, the weaker zombies would not be able to break past the gates and windows much less if they were fortified by the trees. So, there was no need for a lookout.
Hearing my words Saeko nodded her head and was about to move in I said, "Don't forget to fill in Shizuka about everything." I said and she nodded with a smile and moved in.
