Chapter 4 - Part 4: I should visit the cell more often.

Police Station:

-- Officer Tartz, Officer Tartz, where are you?

-- Officer klord, what happened?

-- Kaim made another scene. This time he got caught in the hospital.

-- Does this guy want to end up in a mental hospital? If we have a natural week where he doesn't cause trouble, he unleashes a week's worth of it on us. What did he do this time?

-- Nothing much. He just didn't pay a cab driver.

-- What? That's it? So he just made a fuss about not paying a taxi driver?

-- Yeah. But he said it was because his house wasn't his house anymore and everything had changed or something like that. Obviously, what's in the report is ridiculous, but-

-- but we're talking about Kaim. You know, the guy who's a collection of shit that all comes together into a body. Bring him here. Let me hear his story in person.

-- All right, Officer Tartz. I'll get right on it.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Kaim was sitting in the hallway, completely buried in his thoughts. He was thinking so deeply that if someone shouted at him, he couldn't hear them. He was still thinking about these events. Hours had passed and darkness had fallen, but everything had happened so fast. Of course, the clock hadn't changed size for months, but when it did, everything changed. The names of everyone and everything and no one's personalities. The timeline was changing from the past to the present, from beginning to end. But now it was very different. Only the places, colors, tones, shapes and species of living things were changing. It was as if Kaim was not changing dimensions this time, but his own dimension was changing. After much thought, he came to this conclusion. Still, something was wrong. Everything was always wrong. Nothing had been right since he started messing with this clock. As he was thinking these things, someone tapped him lightly on the shoulder. It was a man in a white coat, his hair more or less gray, his face completely devoid of a smile, and standing next to him was Officer Posir. From the look in their eyes, they shouted, but Kaim was too lost in thought to hear them. Kaim saw the duo and jumped to his feet:

-- Kaim, I heard you wanted surgery.

Suddenly the doctor's eyes lit up and his face broke into a smile. He had witnessed a few moments before when Kaim's watch had gone crazy and smashed things. This watch was drawing its energy from the energy in Kaim's body, so a biological merger was possible. Ever since that day, this doctor has been looking forward to the day when he would dismember Kaim to study the side effects of Kaim's body. If Kaim died, he would be the first to perform an autopsy on his body:

-- Dr. Gilf, I have a serious problem.

-- Yeah, I know, you think your watch might have gotten into your body, don't you?

-- Yes, I do. Even though I don't have the watch anymore, it's still protecting me. And the whole place keeps changing. Just having this conversation, all of us, including me, have changed several times.

-- So how do you think I can operate on you if the watch is still protecting you? If the clock is protecting you, the knife can't pierce your skin.

-- That's why I want to stay here until I'm starving to death. If I'm starving to death, the clock can't protect my skin. Of course it won't let me die. If you do anything to cause me to die, the clock will attack you. I've had a similar experience in another dimension.

-- What was it like?

-- It was a world covered with huge forests. I had been hungry for days and everything in the forest was poisonous and the clock wouldn't let me touch any fruit. finally my bones were exposed enough to be counted and I lay in a corner waiting to die. Soon a giant thing came to me. I could tell by its body that it was an insect but its face was very frightening. Its teeth were extremely large and it looked like it could tear me to pieces at any moment. And it did. It put its mouth into my stomach and its mouth easily went into my stomach and came out covered in blood. There was almost no energy left in my body, so there was almost no energy left in the watch. That insect thing started to devour my internal organs. I didn't even have the strength to scream. I couldn't wait to die and get rid of the watch. When the thing started gnawing on my liver, suddenly a shock wave went through my body and the thing started to die. My body quickly made a full recovery.

and the thing's body turned white. It was clear that the watch had drawn all the energy from the thing that had attacked me.

The doctor listened to this story, at first looking sideways with disbelieving eyes, but he had no choice but to believe it because he knew that the incident with the clock was real. When Kaim finished his story, he closed his eyes and looked at Kaim again, nodding his head calmly:

-- All right then, let's starve you for 5 days. It will be painful for you, but I can't agree to do this surgery without guaranteeing my safety. Officer Posir?

-- We will keep Kaim at the police station and feed him nothing but water.

Listening to these conversations, Kaim had no choice but to agree. These decisions made perfect sense to him. Posir took Kaim by the arm, led him outside and happily placed Kaim in the police car. Kaim's face was indescribably devastated as this happened. Kaim had already been ordered to be brought from the police station, so this worked in Posir's favor. When they reached the police station they were met by a very young police officer. They went inside and Posir entrusted Kaim to the young policeman. Leaving Posir was not good for Kaim. It was impossible to get to know people because everything and everywhere was changing all the time. So for Kaim to recognize Posir again, Posir had to tell him his name. Kaim would have no choice but to believe without question. Because everyone changes completely except akibigemor. As he was walking with such thoughts, the police officer in front of him started talking:

-- What's your case?

-- Excuse me?

-- I mean, are you mentally ill or something? You made a scene in the hospital to avoid paying for a taxi, and on top of that you wanted an operation for no reason.

-- A surgery for no reason?

Because Kaim's case was so special, his hospital procedures were deliberately not recorded. So there was no record of the reason for his request for surgery at the hospital or what his surgery was.

-- Yes, surgery for no reason. And on top of that, Officer Tartz called you in special. What makes you so special. Are you some kind of mobster? Don't worry, I won't say anything.

That police officer was a real asshole. If he was in the Mafia, he could have been killed, but he didn't care, he just said whatever came into his head.

-- Just take me to Tartz.

The policeman frowned as Kaim became serious, but he was forced to turn away, unable to say anything because of the strict orders from Tartz. After a while they arrived at Tartz's office and the police officer entered, holding Kaim's back. Then he saluted and went out:

-- Kaim, welcome.

-- Tartz, is that you?

Tartz was changing shape and species all the time, so he looked very disgusting at the moment. Kaim blinked his eyes several times to see Tartz in a way he could take seriously.

-- Kaim, is there something wrong with your eye.

Kaim was blinking his eyes rapidly, which looked very strange from the outside.

-- Anyway, I'll get right to the point.

Officer Tartz put his arms on the table. He took a deep breath. Just doing those two things was enough to make the atmosphere tense. After he tensed the atmosphere, he opened his eyes wide and shouted loudly:

-- WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO DO!? Are you so helpless that you can't pay a simple one hundred lira!? (He pretends to calm down) And you want surgery.

Officer Tartz feels relieved after releasing all the anger from his busy day on Kaim. Kaim recounts the events one by one from the beginning. Obviously there was no need for him to do this, especially with Akibigemor, but Kaim needed to confide in someone. And this was the opportunity. After about 1 hour of investigation in a tense atmosphere, two policemen took Kaim and led him to a cell. most of the cells were empty. the criminals in them did not resemble the criminals he had seen in the movies. Perhaps it was because the environment had changed that the criminals seemed so simple to Kaim. After walking for a while, two police officers suddenly stopped. One opened the door and the other pushed Kaim from behind and threw him into the cell. They locked the door and left. Then he stood up and looked first at the bars and then at the hard two-person bunk bed. No matter how much he blinked, the intensity of the sounds around him didn't change much, no matter how much the environment changed:

-- It's...

... it's so quiet!? It's unbelievable. Because of the constant changes in the city, there were different headache-inducing sounds, which inevitably made me feel depressed. But no matter how much this place changes, the sounds don't change that drastically. That's really great, I should visit the cell more often.
