(Asaka Point of View)
When I pull up, I see my darling pacing outside with the bodyguard behind him at the door. My darling looks hurt. What happened while I was gone? He doesn't look at me when I get out of the car. What happened? Why isn't he looking at me? What did Abaddon tell him? I will stab him if I have to. If anything is wrong with my darling, I will deal with it correctly.
As I walk up the house, I see them talking a bit and my darling seems to relax. I can't hear what Abaddon said to him but it helped calm him down so that is all I care about at the moment. Good. I don't know what happened but it's time to see. I see him take a deep breath before looking up at me.
"What happened darling?"
"Abaddon told me somethings and I don't know how to feel about it so now we need to talk about it." This isn't a good start. If he tries to leave me again, I will have to keep him here longer. I don't care what I have to do to get him to stay here, I will do what I need to do.
"Of course. How about we go inside to talk?"
"Okay, we can do that."
I let my darling head in first before I tell Abaddon that if he messed our relationship up, I will kill him. Abaddon gets the message and agrees before he also heads inside and I follow. I sit down in a chair that is across from my darling.
"So, what is it that you want to talk about?"
I see him pause as I give him time. Whatever he was told seems to be bothering him a lot. I hope that Abaddon didn't tell him what I actually do for work. If so that would explain this but then again, I feel like he would hate me and start yelling at me for lying to him. I can't think of anything else that would have been said that he would need to talk to me. Maybe he said something about me not really but kind of a police officer. "The first thing is, what would you do for me?"
What would I do for him? Everything, anything. I know how he is and anything he would ask I would do but why is this a question? "Whatever you ask of me. Why is there something you want?" What could he want? I can't think of anything I wouldn't give him. Well, other than not seeing him anymore, that I can't do but I can give him space.
"I don't want anything, Abaddon just pointed out what he sees with you at work, which brings up my second question, why were you lying?"
Shit. So he does know. He seems surprisingly calm because of it. I don't know if he really does know. How could he be so calm if he knew the truth? "Well, I didn't want to scare you. I want you to know me before anything else. I knew where you worked and I found everything about you fast. I did stalk you for a bit when I didn't know what I was feeling. Also, when I found you because of the kidnapping, it was because my men kidnapped you. I didn't mean for that to be the way it went. I told them to get the females and for some reason they grabbed you. I punished them because of course they weren't thinking and just went down the list without looking. I am a police officer, not for the right reasons but I am one. Plus, I didn't want you to hate me or fear me right off the bat so I didn't tell you. It's also kind of the reason we have Lev. One of the other bosses has a pet lion that gave birth but he was getting rid of the runts. I don't know how he ended up here but I'm sure there is some reason for that." I keep eye contact as I speak, kind of a silent way to say that I am telling the truth. I can tell it is a lot for him to process. I should just let him process it on his own. "How about I go make us some dinner?"
I see him nod his head a bit so I head into the kitchen. I should make something that will take a while so he has time to think, and it is early to start making dinner. I go to grab some meat from my freezer when I hear my darling and Abaddon talking. I pull out my phone and I text Abaddon to make sure my darling doesn't leave before I take the meat out and start on dinner.
