(Asaka Point of View)
After a few minutes of holding my darling close, I feel movement when I see Lev. He has grown a bit and no longer needs help with the bathroom. I have the food in her for Lev so my darling knows he is eating. Lev is surprisingly soft. I didn't think Lion cuds were soft but he seems to be. I doubt when his main grows in it will be a different texture. They just look like they do. Frey has a female lion so I don't know how the main will feel. Lev lays down on my darling's lap. I am so glad that they are getting along so well. They do seem very happy with each other, which is good. My darling kind of gets up, more so straightens out, to pet Lev. Lev willingly gets pet. I don't know if my darling has realized that he isn't a kitten yet. I could ask but I also want to see how long it takes. Maybe I should tell him but then again he is still recovering so I should wait. After all, I could pretend that I don't know, but then again, I am really bad at lying. My darling picks up Lev to hold him close. I pick up my darling and sit him on my lap. He holds onto Lev as I hold him close to me.
"You really do love Lev, don't you?"
"I do. He is such a good kitten. Even though I have heard that cats are mean, I don't understand if they were lying or if Lev is just calm. He does like jumping on anything that moves."
"Like his toys?"
"Yes. He does really like his toys and seems to have fun."
"That's good." Should I tell him now? He seems happy with Lev but I don't know if that will change if he knows the truth. I should tell him. I don't know if I can keep it from him. "Darling?"
He looks up at him. "Yes?"
"How would you feel if Lev isn't a normal house cat?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean how would you feel if Lev is a lion?" I see him pause and it seems like he is thinking but I can't tell. "I understand if you don't believe me but I believe I know where he comes from."
"Is he? Is he a lion?"
"He is. A coworker of mine has a lion and he can't keep the cubs so he let them go not thinking anything about it when he found here and has now stayed with us."
He pauses for a second. "Can we still keep him?"
"Yes, we can. I won't have you get rid of him. You can keep him. I don't mind, but you will have to be prepared for him to become quite big and he is a lion so you have to be prepared."
"I will be. I want to take care of him the best I can. Plus, then that means I can keep him. I want to keep him."
I smile at him. I wish he was like that with me but I can still wait. After all, I need to be understanding and he does seem like he does love me. I love him so much and I hope he does as well. I know he has told me that he loves me but I don't know if he was telling the truth. I hold him close. "Just tell me if you need anything."
He nods his hand. "I will. Thank you so much. I love you, ma'am."
Wait what? He said it first. He must love me then. He has to. Otherwise, he wouldn't have said it. It's not like he would lie about that. And he called me ma'am as well. "Can I kiss you?" Why did I ask that? Sure I love it when he calls me ma'am and he said I love you but I should have waited.
"Yes, you can." He cuts off my thoughts. Before I realize it, I kiss him. I hold his face as he kisses me back. I love this feeling. He tastes so good. It feels so nice to have him like this.
I pin him down on the bed I hear Lev get off the bed. I don't pay attention to that. I soon pull back. I smile down at him. He looks so pretty like this under me.
"This is something."
"Sorry about that." I get off of him.
"You're fine. I wasn't expecting that."
"I got a bit excited." In several ways.
"Can we cuddle?"
He is so adorable. "Of course we can."
I lay down on the bed before pulling him close to me. Lev comes up and joins up. I cuddle him close while my darling cuddles Lev. He looks so cute holding his lion.
