(Asaka Point of View)
I head into my home office that I have. I grab my phone and it is Frey. Great. This could only be good news. I roll my eyes as I pick up my phone.
"Yes?"
"We have a small issue." Of course, there is. Right when things were going well as well, couldn't the world just have stopped so I could have enjoyed my time with my darling?
"What?"
"Some of the men got caught when disposing of the bodies and now some of us need some help."
"What kind of help?"
"Well, we are hiding as the police search the area."
"Who all is there?"
"About ⅓ of the mafia with me." That is a large amount to lose but I can hire more. I should start after this. I do need to make sure Frey gets out alive though.
"I will be there soon. Just don't move."
I hang up the phone. At least I know that I haven't lost myself with my feelings. I still care for Frey, I might be more annoyed than normal but I haven't lost myself. I head back out into the living room but I don't see my darling. I start looking around. Where could he be? I doubt that he heard my call and I didn't hear anything so I don't think that he ran away. Maybe he just went into the bathroom. I head into the bathroom but he isn't there. He could be in a different bathroom. I start looking in all of the bathrooms that I own in this house.
After sketching for several minutes, I find him in my gym. I came here because there is a bathroom. Last place I thought that I would see him but it's good that I found him. I let out a small sigh. I'm glad that I have found him. I was worried he ran away. I walk up to him. He seems distracted as he looks at the leg press. I have the weight up to 360 as that is what I was last lifting. I do have all of my machines have heavier weights than what they come with as the heaviest weight was 190 and that is a lot lighter than what I can lift. I look down at him.
"What are you looking at?"
I see him jump before looking up at me. "Hi. Sorry. I wanted to look around a bit. I then got a little lost and then lost in thought when I tried to remember how to get back."
I smile at him. He really is cute. "That's fine. You have no need to apologize. Let me help you to the living room. You can watch some TV but I have to head to work. I am needed. I just wanted to tell you before I left and it seems like that was a good idea."
He gives a small nervous chuckle. "Sorry. Lend the way," he mumbles.
"You don't need to apologize." I start walking back into the living room, which is upstairs.
"Sorry," he mumbles again while we are on the stairs. He is a few steps behind me as he looks down at the ground. I stop walking and I turn around. He ends up running into me. I hold his waist as he almost falls back.
"Look at me." I can hear the command come out as more of a command instead of me asking how I meant for it to sound like.
He looks up and I can see some surprise and some fear? Shit. He is scared of me. I give myself a second to calm down. "I apologize for my tone. You don't need to apologize so you can stop. Okay?"
I see him calm down slightly. "Okay." Great. He is still mumbling. What's going on with him? Did something happen? I know he didn't see anything. My place has nothing to do with crime. After all, according to everything, I have my own shop. There are even fake items that just so happen to be code names for illegal things. So it is a real shop, just not for normal people.
I let go of him and go back to walking. I head into the living room with him following me. I let myself completely calm down. I hand him the remote. He doesn't flinch away from me which is good, so he isn't scared I am going to hurt him. I don't want him to be.
"Be safe. I will be back soon. You have my number. If you need anything, text me."
"I can do that."
I put on my shoes and I grab my keys. I look over at him. He is turning the TV on. I really hope I didn't scare him too much. I don't want him to fear me. I want to care and love him, not scare and hurt him. I head out to my car and I get in. I start driving to Frey´s position. Luckily they were smart enough to send me their position, without me saying anything about it. That could also be because they could tell something was up.
