Chapter 25 - The Truth

(Levar Point of View)

We both stay quiet for a little bit before she speaks.

"I have a question for you about your name?"

"What is it?"

"Where is your name from?" I didn't think she would ask this but I know where my name comes from so it's not a problem.

"Well it's Slovenian so it's from the Republic of Slovenia"

She looks at me in surprise. "Oh? Did you grow up there?"

"Well, I was there for a few years."

"How was it? What was it like?"

That's not a question I really want to answer but I guess I should give her an answer. "Well, my mom grew up there so she has better memory and follows the culture better than I do. I still follow some and I know Slovenian."

"Do you ever want to go back?"

I pause for a moment. I don't have the best memories as my father isn't a good person, nor my sister but it was nice when they weren't there but that wasn't something I really had to experience so I guess I would like to. "Yes, I do."

"Do you miss it?"

"Kind of, yes."

"You know, I can take you there."

I look at her confused. It's not really the cheapest thing to travel there and most of the people won't speak English endlessly, it is needed so it's not like she will understand any of it, endless she knows Slovenian that is. "Why? And how?"

I see her smile at me as she closes her eyes and she starts to speak, "Well I have plans on doing some traveling so I have the money to, plus, it would be nice for you to go back to where you grew up."

She would do that for me. Why? I look down in my lap. If my dad or sister sees me I will be in a lot of trouble. My dad has always wanted me and my sister to be like him, my sister did but I'm not going to. I can't hurt anyone. "You don't need to do that. Plus, I like it here."

Before she can speak, her phone goes off. "I'm sorry. I should go take this."

"Take your time."

I watch her leave. I soon stand up and start looking around. If I am going to be here I should get used to where everything is. The place is quite big and there are a lot of rooms. How could she afford this? Do police get paid that much? This is impressive but how does she keep it all clean? It's so big. As I walk around, I end up in a home gym. I go to leave but I end up going in circles. I look to see what weights that she is lifting when I see that the leg press is 360.

Wow. She really could crush my head between her thighs. Fuck. I like that idea. I have issues. I shouldn't like the idea as much as I do and I can feel it down there that I am wet. I need to calm down. We just met and she might hate me if she finds that I am trans. I still don't have the money for surgery, so it will be a while so I need to stay calm. Plus, I might not even be her type.

"What are you looking at?"

I jump slightly at the sudden noise. I look up to see who it is. It's Asaka. Oh. She must have finished her call. "Hi. Sorry. I wanted to look around a bit. I then got a little lost and then lost in thought when I tried to remember how to get back."

She smiles at me. "That's fine. You do not need to apologize. Let me help you to the living room. You can watch some TV but I have to head to work. I am needed. I just wanted to tell you before I left and it seems like that was a good idea."

I let out a nervous chuckle. What if she sees me watching the first cartoon that came to mind? "Sorry. Lend the way," I mumbles.

"You don't need to apologize." She starts walking upstairs so I follow her.

"Sorry," I mumble again while we are on the stairs. I don't realize that she stopped until I almost run into her and fall back slightly, and she grabs me by the waist. I didn't expect that.

"Look at me," she commands. She sounds mad and kind of scary. I didn't know she could sound that scary but then again she is a police officer. I look up at her, a little scared but surprised. "I apologize for my tone. You don't need to apologize so you can stop. Okay?"

"Okay," I mumble.

She soon lets go of me and goes back to walking. I follow her. When we get into the living room, she hands me the remote and I sit down on the couch.

"Be safe. I will be back soon. You have my number. If you need anything, text me."

"I can do that."

I turn on the TV and I start looking through what I can watch. After a few minutes, I changed the location to Slovenia which wasn't as easy as I thought it would be but I managed to do it. Everything turns into Slovenen but I can still read it as that is my native language. I got through and I found Radovedni Taček. I know that it is a kid's show but I can be a kid now and again so I put it on.
