If only she truly knew that no one had ever dared to speak to this man the way she talked to him.
A heavy, deep sigh.
Caesar took hold of her chin, jerking her head up to make her stare into his eyes. He leaned, bending a little, so their faces were barely an inch apart.
"What about you, princess?" he asked.
Adeline wrinkled her brows at him. "What?"
Caesar let out a throaty chuckle. "Sure, I like biting you very much, actually. But why are you so comfortable with it?"
Adeline flickered her eyes, taken aback. "W-what do you-"
"Now, my darling, it hurts you, but you do not stop me. What is the reason? You could ask me to stop, and I would immediately, but you never do so. You let me. Why? You must like it, don't you?" Caesar angled a mischievous brow at her, beginning to take steps forward.
Adeline started to move back and eventually fell into the bed accidentally with a startled gasp.
