Chapter 4 - Crows Assassination Guild

In an Unknown Area, A King of an unknown region shares a drink with a mysterious man.

"So, What brings the King of Astaven to my building?" The Mysterious man asked.

"You guys, You're supposed to be the Third-best Assassin Organisation in the Southern Sea, right?" The Astaven King said.

"You guessed right, and my Question needs some answers. What brings the King of Astaven to my building?"

"I need you to assassinate a certain man." The Astaven King said.

"You came all this way just to request that? You could have just given a phone call." The Mysterious Man.

"The Ghost Bandits are keeping track of any phone call that's made. It's hard to make a request like this."

"That's why you came all the way to Kohu. And by the name Ghost Bandits, I guess your request is to assassinate..."

"That's right."

The Astaven King hands the mysterious man a bounty poster.

"The Commander of the Ghost Bandits, "The Watchdog" Keith Ammizabad. He already has a bounty on his head, There was no need to come here." The Mysterious man said.

"I want this man dead as soon as possible. I can't sleep in peace knowing that he still breathes." The Astaven King said.

"You still had the option of asking Shadows. Though they're the branch company of the original, they're still powerful." The Mysterious man said.

"Thanks to the Watchdog, The Country does not have the budget to hire such a top organization." The Astaven King said.

"So that's the main reason for coming to us. That hurts me a bit."

"So will you do it?"

"How much are you willing to offer?"

"Double his bounty. I can even sell some women to you."

"Interesting. Very, I'll take up your offer."

"I appreciate it so much."

"To think the Government would be working with criminals like us. Then this bandit must be a real pain. Keith Ammizabad."

In Cliffwolf Village in Astaven, Keith is seated in a hot spring and smoking a cigarette.

"You'll get dizzy if you stay in the spring for too long."

Rakesh walks into the Hot spring.

"Rakesh..."

"Anyways, the News is too cruel. We haven't even been getting the spotlight. It's just about the Queen of Assassins." Rakesh said.

"I'm not doing what I'm doing for attention but for the sake of the Village." Keith said.

"I know, I know. But it wouldn't hurt to appear on television even once." Rakesh said.

"That's what you care about? Pathetic."

"Shut up! You appeared on Television once, as being announced as one of the Thirteen Disasters of the World." Rakesh said.

"Thirteen Disasters?"

"You know, Rookie hunters with the potential of becoming a threat in the future. That's why they're called the Thirteen Disasters." Rakesh said.

"I see, and who else besides me is a member of the Thirteen Disasters?"

"Well, the most famous amongst you Thirteen is the Queen of Assassins, Alexandra the Ripper." Rakesh said.

"Alexandra the Ripper huh? I see. That was quite an interesting talk."

Keith gets out of the spring and grabs a towel.

"Anyways, Don't stay in the spring for too long. You might get dizzy."

"Shut up! And Don't copy what I just said!"

Keith walks out of the room.

"He tries to act tough but he really can't handle his mom's passing."

Keith is in his room, and he dresses up and puts on the cloak. He gets up and looks at his mom's photo.

"I'll be going, Mom."

Keith walks out of the house and sees his crewmates waiting for him on a bike.

"Are we going on another hunt, Boss?" Mahendra asked.

"Yeah, and this one will be an interesting one." Keith said.

"Keith, Don't forget to take your lunch with you. You keep forgetting them." Aanya said.

"Sorry."

Aanya hands the lunchbox to Keith.

"And you're forgetting another thing." Aanya said.

"Right."

Keith kisses Aanya on her forehead.

"Now you be safe." Aanya said.

"Right, I'm on my way now."

Keith climbs the bike and he and his boys ride away.

"Boss, You really have a soft spot for the Chief's Daughter." Mahendra said.

"Well of course, she's his wife. Stop spouting nonsense." Rakesh said.

"So what's today's mission?" Mahendra asked.

"We're attacking an enemy base." Keith said.

"Enemy base?" Rakesh asked.

"Bandits that have been swooping around at the north. They're working with the nobles so we'll have to take them out." Keith said.

"It makes sense. I wondered why you'd initiate a Bandit war when you know we'll win." Rakesh said.

"This is kinda like teaching them a lesson." Keith said.

"Very well, I'll go with it." Rakesh said.

A Few minutes later, they arrive at the North of Astaven. They get off their bikes holding guns, swords, metal pipes, and baseball bats.

"Let's teach those bastards who truly run Astaven." Mahendra said.

In an abandoned warehouse in the North of Astaven. A Nobleman is seated with the leader of the Bandits while the other Bandits surround the place while holding guns.

"You did a pretty good job, Tenzin. Now with the goods you've stolen, we'll make a load of cash." The Nobleman said.

"It's nothing Sir Agastya. For we too will benefit from this deal."

[Tenzin _ Leader of the Tenzin Bandits. Bounty: 1 Million Gols. No Star]

"I'm glad I hired you. And with your assistance, I'm sure my brother has already razed down that damned village." Agastya said.

One of Agastya's securities comes running into the warehouse.

"Sir!"

"What is it? Can't you see I'm having a conversation with Tenzin?" Agastya said.

"Bandits are attacking this place." The Guard said.

"What? My men wouldn't attack unless I gave them permission to. And this is my base." Tenzin said.

"It's not you guys. We're being attacked by the most infamous criminals of the Southern Sea, The Ghost Bandits."

"So the Southern Sea's big dogs have arrived. How did they even know we were cutting a deal? Did your brother fail?" Tenzin asked.

"Damn, he screwed up. You guys fend off the Ghost Bandits. Tenzin, You take me back to my mansion and protect me. I'll pay you double." Agastya said.

"Doesn't Astaven have issues with their budget? So you're saying you're going to pay me with a tight budget?"

"Just who do you think you're talking to? I run businesses around the Southern Sea. Trust me when I say I'll pay you double." Agastya said.

Keith kicks down the door of the warehouse and walks in while the Bandits and guards point him with guns.

"I overheard, Where do you guys think you're going?" Leo asked.

"He's already here. "The Watchdog" Keith Ammizabad." Tenzin said.

"You Nobles still plan on attacking our village after the warning we gave you a year ago. And now you're using fellow Bandits to try to bring us down but I understand why you'd resort to that." Keith said.

"You Commoners don't deserve peace." Agastya said.

"No, I say it's you Nobles that don't deserve peace. Bandit, Tell your men to stand down." Keith said.

"Huh?! You're not the King of the Thieves. Why should I listen to you." Tenzin said.

"Really?"

"Open holes in this fool."

The Guards and Bandits shoot at Keith but Keith slows down all the bullets using the wind.

"Tch."

He sends the bullets back at them, shooting them down. Tenzin moves back, and Keith takes out a gun and shoots at Tenzin but Tenzin puts a forcefield and blocks the bullet.

"You got ahead of yourself, Watchdog."

Tenzin puts down the forcefield and leaps for Keith. But Keith slows him down and lifts him off the ground using wind.

"How are you able to use Elemental Magic? Someone of your standard shouldn't be capable of it." Tenzin asked.

"The Best you Commoners can use is Enchantment Magic or Enhancement Magic. You guys aren't capable of using Elemental Magic." Agastya said.

Keith walks up to Agastya and points him with a gun.

"I can tell by your eyes that you want to live. Now he's an option for you, Take me to your safe and have over every bit of cash you own." Keith said.

"Are you threatening me? It doesn't matter if a bandit or two die." Agastya said.

"You Bastard! You were planning on hogging everything to yourself!" Tenzin shouted.

"I'm not talking about the Bandit."

Keith shoots Agastya in the leg.

"I'm being generous here generic scum. You have two tries left." Keith said.

"Okay, Please spare me?" Agastya pleaded.

Keith binds Tenzin using the wind and walks with Agastya to the safe. Agastya opens the safe and they see a bag of cash.

"While the country is suffering from a tight budget, You out here storing money for yourself. You Nobles are as selfish as they come." Keith said.

Keith walks towards the money bags and pulls out a mini device.

"Inventory."

Keith stores all the bags of money in that small device.

"Good job citizen, Your services are no longer required."

Keith shoots Agastya in the head. He then walks towards Tenzin and crouches before him.

"Hey, Let's cut a deal. As a fellow bandit, I'm sure you'll understand." Tenzin said.

"I'm sure my men already dealt with your crew. I would've spared you as a fellow bandit. But I'm sure you understand, We Bandits do anything to get what we want." Keith said.

"Bastard!"

Keith shoots down Tenzin.

"Two Vermins eliminated. I hope that teaches you a lesson, Astaven King."

In the Crows Assassination Guild building.

"I thank you for answering my summon, Chigaru." The Guildmaster of the Crows Organisation said.

"For you to call me instead of our other Assassins. Which big wig am I slaying?"

[Chigaru _ B-Rank Assassin of the Crows Assassination Guild]

The Guildmaster hands Chigaru a bounty poster.

"Boss, Surely you're joking?" Chigaru asked.

"That's your target. The Commander of the Ghost Bandits, "The Watchdog" Keith Ammizabad."

"Hid Bounty is only 15 Million Gols. Surely our low-ranking assassins, Bandits can handle him." Chigaru said.

"Our Client is willing to pay double the amount just to have him killed. To us, he's an insect but to others, he's a nuisance that should be eliminated. Surely you understand what I'm trying to say."

"So this is going to be the easiest money I've ever made."

"Don't underestimate him. His Bounty Poster States that he is one of the Thirteen Disasters of the World."

"Potential but not a threat. Then I'll be going to make my money."

"Alright, I wish you luck."

"I don't need luck. I know this is going to be fast."
