"Agreed," Don replied. The idea of accompanying Avery to Grand City seemed like the best course of action. If Avery insisted on visiting the Torres mansion, there was little Don could do to dissuade her. His priority was ensuring her safety.
The next day, Don and Avery arrived in Grand City at the Torres mansion, and Avery made her way to the entrance while Don stayed back in his car, keeping a close eye on her every move.
He anticipated that Avery would emerge from the house within minutes. If she didn't return promptly, he would have to go in and check on her.
As Avery pressed on the doorbell, it was Avina who opened the door. Upon seeing Avery with bandages on her face, Avina shot her a disdainful look. The animosity she harboured towards Avery was evident, particularly since the Forte family had expressed their interest in her.
Avery entered the house and met Alice in the living room.
