As Paige walked into the coffee shop, she scanned the room for a familiar face. She spotted Gad, sitting in the corner, typing away on his laptop. She made her way over, feeling a sense of nervousness building up inside her.
"Hey, Gad," Paige said, sitting down across from him.
Gad looked up, a hint of a smile on his face. "Paige, good to see you. What's the plan?"
Paige leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "I need to know more about Emily and Ryan. Who are they, and what's their connection to my family?"
Gad's expression turned serious, and he nodded. "I've been digging into their backgrounds, and I think I've found something interesting."
Paige's heart skipped a beat as she leaned in closer. "What is it?"
Gad hesitated, glancing around the coffee shop before responding. "I think Emily and Ryan might be connected to your mother's past, Paige. They might know something about your family's secrets."
