Paige and Kayden sat on one of the tables sitting far-right in RAVEN, Paige's favorite cafeteria. The place wasn't new to Kayden either. Seeing the enticing food displayed before them, the latter smiled.
"Should I dig in?" She inquired, and Paige's lips parted with a smile.
"Sure, what are you waiting for? My treat." She urged her on. Without hesitation, Kayden descended on her meal.
"You should eat too." She told Paige.
The latter smiled, " Just focus on yourself. You know I am a light eater."
Instinctively, a sigh escaped Kayden's lips at her statement. "You really need to do something about your eating habit. " She said, "Else, your husband is going to abandon you."
Paige scoffed, "I need to be married first to even have a husband, right?" She snapped.
"Why? Are things not going well between you two? What did your family say when you met them yesterday?"
"Well... it's not easy as you think."
