"Miss, excuse me for saying this - but aren't you wearing those a bit too much?"
I asked Hina one morning as I was driving her to work.
"Nah, I love them"
Hina responded as if this was no big deal at all as I commented on her wearing the cufflinks I gave her. Those were supposed to be just another fashion accessory to add to however many hundreds of such she may have in her drawers. Maybe even just wear them once and never look at them again. She could afford to wear something different every day till the day she died. I was just happy enough that it worked as a present when she was pissed off with me for a while but I didn't expect she'd be wearing them every day. Like every single day.
"Erm, I don't think it gives a good impression that you are always wearing the same things, Miss. It's like ties. They don't have to be wildly varied but you'd want to rotate them a bit, right?"
