"What happened?"
Hina asked me with a concerned look on her face.
Don't look at me like that.
But did I really look that troubled?
Just because…?
"You look like you didn't get any sleep. Ah, let me guess. You stayed up all night playing games didn't you?!"
"No, Miss. I'm just… a little tired today"
"Right"
Hina seemed to sense that what obviously kept me awake last night wasn't something I want to talk about, so thankfully, she did not probe any further.
Instead, though, she tried to cheer me up.
"You want some chocolate?"
Hina broke up the chocolate she was eating and tried to hand me a piece.
"Thank you. But no thank you"
"Shall we go for a run?"
"No"
"Right"
We then sat in silence each on our own bean bag. Hina pretended to go over some documents while I just laid back staring at the ceiling, but I knew she kept checking me out to see if I was okay.
