"What just happened, Hina?"
Hina, Jindo, and I were in Hina's room back at the Chan Mansion on the same evening. The news that there was a mass lay-off of the highest-level managers in each department of the Chan Group made it to the mainstream media real quick. The stock prices already took a big hit triggering a level 1 circuit breaker at a 7% drop, and another level 2 circuit breaker at a 13% drop. Thankfully, the market closed before level 3 was triggered, but the future looked very very bleak for the Chan Group in the market.
The Chan family's Net Asset Value decreased by billions of dollars in a single day. Of course, none of the members of the Chan family would be out on the streets because of this, but it was entirely understandable that pretty much everyone was upset with Hina.
