Aasimar wore her gold earring and stared back at herself in the mirror. Her face wore a gloomy look as her heart beat hard against her ribcage. She was the only child to the clan chief and next in line, all her life she had always felt pressured by her status. Always putting the needs of her people before her.
It was tiring!
Even now, it was against her wish to go out with the lord of death but it's not like she had a choice. The people came first.

"C- coming!" She hissed as she balanced her splendid red gown with many intircated designs an rubies. "Sheesh! It's not as if you're going to spend time with that monster!"
She shrugged as she recalled when he smashed Krapin's head to bits.
