Episode 42: The Mage Of Illusion
Duke raised his head and stared at Narci clutching to Kilr's dead body. His eyes held a bit of respect for him. He watched the sunset haired girl deep in tears and sighed.
"Hey lady! He's gone, get over it!" He spoke to her and failed to get a reply.
He balled his hands into fists, he felt like punching someone. He was angry but why was he angry…?
His mind raced with thoughts.
"It's frustrating! After all that talk about being special and all, after all those drills he put us through and I couldn't even make a difference. I couldn't even beat the zombie!"
He trembled within himself.
"I was afraid of that son of a bitch and he took it down and died like a bug. Yet he's a hero huh? What about me-- oh yes! It's not like I did nothing!"
Chaz turned to face him with a sorry face. "Um, Duke? What do we do now."
