Karna was looking at his system while in a wagon that was travelling back to Magnolia. Cana was tired after all the travelling and was now asleep with her head resting on Karna's shoulders and Karna decided to check his system now as there was free time
Seeing that the major quest of eclipse gate was diverted completely Karna let out a sigh of relief. His favourite anime was fairy tail in his last life but the one part of Fairy Tail that he feels most saddened about was the fate of the future Lucy and Future Levy who suffered alone in the world.
He still remembered the scene where the scarred Levy was writing a journal contemplating whether to commit suicide or not and since Lucy from the future had died due to future Rogue and Levy ended up being alone in the future. Though the anime never showed it, the chances of her committing suicide are very high.
Karna looked at his shoulder and saw Cana sleeping well. Because of his interference Cana had grown stronger than in the Canon and the chances off her fighting in the front lines and dying are very high as well. The system might provide help in stopping the dragons from coming into this world in the eclipse gate mission but the chances of a future where the dragons destroy the world existing at the same time is very high as well
Karna knew that if such a world existed, he might be able to kill hundreds or maybe a thousand dragons if he keeps on getting stronger at this rate but he will not be able to stop all ten thousand dragons that come out of the gate and the rate of people dying will also be very high.
That is why Karna had decided to eliminate the chance of that entire future completely early on now the future will be safe from the dragons. But since this is an AU the chances of another threat coming is very high
Karna felt like another headache is coming

Then he started taking a few breaths to calm himself down and try to make more sense of the things that just happened
