Kai stared at the 500 Yuan bill in his hands and smiled widely. He was now dressed in his basketball jersey, but he still felt the ghost sensation of the itchy sequins that were embedded into his dress earlier.
Nonetheless, it was all worth it since he got the 500 Yuan that he had been hoping for.
It definitely wasn't enough to buy the kind of shoes that Yuze and his other teammates wore, but it was still better than nothing. He could now buy something from their local store in preparation for their game on Sunday!
"Kai! Stop staring at your money and help us with the final preparations," Yuze said, making him snap out of his thoughts.
He quickly placed the 500 Yuan in his pocket and helped remove the large cloth that covered the makeshift ring that they had created.
At this point, the cheerleading team and football team were already bursting with customers, yet Kai paid them no attention since he was the most excited about their booth.
