Day 4 of my training day and as usual, being Kobold sucks. But, the reason it sucks are for a different reason other tha. being a weakling.
I have to deal with cleaning my own fur, and it ain't fun and game.
There's one meme about how everytime a dog was brushed, their fur will stuck on the brush, and it won't end despite how many times it was brushed. Yeah, it was like that for me.
I keep using water to rinse off all the dirt from my fur but all I saw is fur coming off my body. It's like you get a haircut but you forgot to rinse it off and amped it up to 11.
At my first bath as Kobold, I dodn't attempt to clean my fur using my hands due to how weak my arms were after training. At my second day, it took me more or less two hours just to get rid of it while taking a bath.
And because of that, my fur were less thick compare to before and my scars on my stomach are more visible than before. I keep wincing at the scar while having a mini flashback on the boar.
I'm desperately need to get stronger. My arms look like it could be mistaken for a twig half covered in snow.
I decided to add 5 more times for each set of my workout. Thanks to the healing concoctions, I was able to recover from muscle strains and fatigue in a good 10 hours sleep.
It still sore as fuck, but it's far better than my workout's aftermath, so it's a plus for me.
I continue my training with my throwing skills using rocks towards the swimming fish. Sadly, I didn't hit any fish swim past by. Well, at least I manage to fish some of them.
"Grrr...." I growled while looking at the rocks on my paws. I seriously still weirded out by the fact that I'm now a furry Kobold.
I rub my scars unconsciously while using my nose. It still stings when I try to smell something, but it wasn't as bad as my first time. My ears hears a lot of noises.
'Bzzzzzz~'
.....I use all of my strength to squash that fucker and disintegrate the corpse into nothing.
I grab the stone dagger next to my makeshift fishing pole before practicing my technique. I keep thinking about the lessons I took from the school's club
It was a bit hillarious that my old school was so into Dungeon Fantasy that they decided to create the club solely for that game alone. It was at first just a normal online game club but it slowly grew into something more.
It was from joining to skip certain classes using 'I have an important club meeting' excuse to an actual club. It slowly adds new stuff into the club, one of them being weapon practices.
It was added due to so many newbies joining the club while not knowing how to play the game properly. Our school coach who secretly were part of the army decided to took over practice and teach the students basics.
I love getting taught by him. He was stern but not pushing, strict, flexible, and patience. He helps me a lot and didn't make fun of me for choosing dagger as my main weapon.
Most of the times, I even spend long time practicing since my 'parents' always return home 2 hours after my school is over while the house was locked and I have no way to get in.
....now that I think about it, does that count as child neglect?
I give the tree one final slash before finally stops. I panted before sitting down and drop the dagger. I really hate my currently weak body, unable to handle small exercise despite having a body equivalent of an adult human.
I never understood how people refuses to improve their stamina, especially when their jobs involves doing shit ton of physical works.
I can't help but wonder, what causes this? What is the reason that I got sent into another world? And another thing is why Kobold? Why not human, beastman, elf, dwarfs, or other sentient races? Why Kobold specifically?
...I doubt thinking about it will ever give me answer-!
*snort*
I froze before looking around. That familiar snort.....I forcefully use my nose to smell that thing out. I was still overwhelmed by the intense smells from my enhanced smell, but I keep focusing on one specific smell I remember when I got hit by that boar.
Blood, metallic and mud scent.
I manage to find traces of that smell from all the overwhelming smell. I immediately shuts it off before I went to hiding. My arms wrre too weak to climb a tree, so I improvise.
I jump into the water as I saw a hint of brown fat fur near my sight. I held my breath as my heart continuously beat like a drum.
.....
....
....
F-fuck....I-I can't hold my breath much longer...B-but, what if the boar...
.....
....
....
I-i can't....
*Gasp!!*
*Cough! Cough!*
I frantically look around the area, trying to see if the boar was there. Much to my relief, I only saw their footprints moving around the riverside before it walks away.
I sigh in relief before lying on the riverside in exhaustion. I can't believe the boar was still here despite everything. Is this perhaps their territory?
....to think I use to slaughter them for resource to get a unique dagger I desperately wanted. This must be karma.
"Grrr..." I growls in frustration. There's no way I'll able to beat that fucker with my current strength and my exhaustion. I need to focus on getting stronger before I hunt that fucker down.
Just you wait you stupid pig, I'll get that tusks as a revenge.
*Chomp!!*
"RRAAARRGH!!!" I howled in pain before jumping out of the river. I look at my back and much to my surprise, a meat eating fish bit my tail. This fucker dares to bit my fucking tail!!
I grab my stone dagger while glaring at my dinner.
To be continued
