Chapter 20 - Princess

"Really? Where did you see this handwriting?" Everyone asked Ishan expectantly.

"Well, that~ I don't remember clearly."

"Sigh~"

Ishan looked at their disappointed face and felt sorry. "Give me some time, I will find out."

"It's not a big deal. You don't need to work hard."

Kifayat returned to school after a complete recovery. Her friends congratulated her. The teachers told her to be more careful about her health.

Kifayat and her group of friends were chatting about all the things that happened when she was absent from school. When suddenly,

"Kifayat!! I found it." Ishan came running.

Kifayat was puzzled. "Relax, why are you running so fast? Is a dog chasing you?"

"Didn't I tell you the handwriting of the letters felt familiar. I found the handwriting. Look at this note book."

Kifayat took the notebook from Ishan's hand and was shocked to see the handwriting is exactly the same as the letters.

"Whose notebook is it?" Kifayat immediately went to check the name of the owner but there was no name written there.

"But why is there no name?"

"Well, I don't know actually. A senior gave it to me."

"What's his name?"

"You know that senior too, it is senior Akash But he also got it from other senior."

"Then you can call him and ask, whom did he got it from?"

"I did, but "

"But?"

"He said it was given by a senior of him who was his cousin."

"Tsk~ Then tell him to ask his cousin!!" Saba was already very annoyed.

"I did that too. But~"

"His cousin also got it from another senior?!!"

"Is this a notebook or a heirloom passed by one generation to another?!"

"No, no, this time it was not passed by another senior."

"Huff! Finally, then from whom did the senior got this notebook?"

"It is from...' Ishan paused a little.

"Who?!?!"

"Their Teacher!"

"Cough, cough! No way."

"You mean this is written by the teacher?!!"

"No I didn't mean that. The teacher also got it from his student."

"It means it is indirectly given by another senior."

"You can say so;"

"What about the teacher? We can just ask him. He must be from our school. Maybe he knows the student."

Everyone looked at Ishan. Ishan blinked and became silent for a while. "That's not possible either."

"Why?" Kifayat asked in a solemn voice, "Don't tell me the teacher retired?"

"How did you know?!" Kifayat sighed, what else can happen?

Boringly Kifayat kept turning from one page to another to see if there is any clue. Suddenly her eyes feel on a certain page.

"Guys, there is a name on the last page."

Really? Everyone looked at the page and felt stupid.

"Eh!!PRINCESS???!"

"Princess, you did not call me for two days? Did you forget me?! Didn't you miss me?"

"Mom, I was busy with the competition. Besides mom can you stop calling me princess? I am a boy. " Arbaz said to her mom speechlessly.

"What's wrong with me calling you princess? It's a nickname I have given you with so much love."

Arbaz had this conversation with his mother thousands time. But he was never able to convince his mother to stop calling him with such embarrassing nickname.

About how this nickname came, it is a black history of Arbaz's life. When Arbaz was in elementary school, he was a very good looking little boy. Even sometimes people would mistake him as a girl.

At a cultural program of the elementary school, his class was supposed to play a drama. As for the role, it was given by lottery. Although Arbaz did not have any interest in performing, he still decided to participate due to his best friend Samir.

As a result, he got the princess role and Samir got the role of prince. He still suspected that Samir is the one who changed his role to princess but he didn't have any proof. Back then, he tried to change his role but it was in vain. Arbaz's mother was very happy to hear his son is performing on stage.

The drama was a success though Arbaz kept a cold face throughout. People just found it cute. From then on everyone in his class would call him princess. Not only that his own mother also started calling him princess hoping he would be cute or lively as a princess.

I don't know how this misconception of his mother came that calling him princess would make him lively. He was helpless with his mother and could only tolerate it. After he grew up, his mother stopped calling him princess outside, but when he is at home she would still call by this embarrassing nickname.

"Anyway mom, I have to go now. Take care of yourself and Say hello to Dad."

"Why don't you call your dad and say that yourself?"

"I am hanging up mom. Bye."

On the other side of the phone, Arbaz's mother said with frustration. "This stubborn boy, I don't know what am I gonna do with the father and son. " Sigh~
