"Has it barely begun and you already want to undress me?" Mikahil asked, his clothing in tatters after being almost completely incinerated from his body. Steam constantly emanated from him, but apart from that and his clothes, he seemed to have suffered no harm.
'Is this really his body? It feels like I'm touching a rock.' Praia thought, taking a leap backward, but being quickly stopped by Mikahil, who grabbed her arm and pulled her forward, saying, "How about we get to the fun part? Or this will end badly for you."
Mikahil landed his open hand in the center of Praia's chest, creating a pillar of ice that extended forward, carrying Praia away.
Praia quickly regained her balance and retaliated, summoning six swords that sliced the ice pillar into pieces, forming a hailstorm around her as she landed on the ground. "Alright, time to take this seriously," Praia said with a wide grin, her hair swaying and her blue horns glowing brightly.
The ground began to tremble, and five enormous Chinese dragons made of pure ice emerged from the frozen ground. They roared in unison, their red eyes glowing with fury. Praia raised her hand, controlling the ice dragons, which charged towards Mikahil with overwhelming force.
"So, wanting to burn me alive was just a joke?" Mikahil took a deep breath, bending his legs and flexing his muscles. With a sudden exhale, the ice beneath his feet cracked and shot towards Praia. "Come on, show me what your fish can do," Mikahil spoke with an energetic look, holding two ice swords in his hands, emitting a frigid aura.
The ice dragons advanced with speed, roaring ferociously as they shot icy blasts towards Mikahil. He skillfully dodged their attacks, using small ice platforms he created with his foot to jump from one place to another, moving with surprising agility. He even managed to pierce through one of the dragons, creating a hole in its belly.
"In so few years, you've become a true monster. Now I can call you a real man," Praia gestured with her hands, expertly controlling the dragons as if they were marionettes. She made them surround Mikahil in an ice whirlpool. She made them concentrate energy in their mouths, releasing two types of torrents – two of flames and two of ice.
Mikahil retorted, "Seems like staying away for so long turned you into a coward, huh? Where's the physical combat?" He spun his swords with precise movements, creating an ice dome around himself to protect from the attacks.
As the fight continued, ice and fire intertwined in an impressive display of skill and strategy. Both combatants showed exceptional mastery over their elements, finding openings in each other's attacks.
The audience watched with admiration and excitement, captivated by the dazzling spectacle unfolding before their eyes. It was an unbelievable show; who could have imagined witnessing such a scene?
"So, this is a man? How did they go extinct?" spoke a woman with green hair and cat ears, sitting on a tree stump. Her eyes seemed hypnotized, as if she were under the spell of catnip.
Praia quickly recovered after being hit by an ice attack that came from the ground, a pillar hitting her belly and sending her up in the air where Mikahil emerged with a smile, wielding his two swords and hitting her belly and shoulder, sending her crashing back down.
"Arghhh..."
Lying on the ground, Praia raised her hands, and the air around her quickly heated up, creating an aura of flames around her.
"You're about to feel my intense heat, Mikahil," she said, fixing her gaze on Mikahil, who smiled and retorted before landing on the ground, "Only if it's within four walls."
"Stop making everything obscene," Praia yelled. With a swift motion, she created a fireball a few meters away from Mikahil, who unleashed a powerful jet of flames in her direction.
"Real heat? Are you sure?" Mikahil easily blocked it with his ice swords, creating a barrier of melting ice.
"Idiot," Praia said, snapping her fingers and causing the ice dragons to continue advancing towards him. She controlled them skillfully, making them zigzag in the air while firing jets of fire and ice with a two-second interval between each attack.
"What's wrong, Praia? Let's go, these dragons are useless," Mikahil said seconds before beheading one of the dragons, leaving only three remaining.
"See?," Mikahil began to jump around the battlefield, agile like a cat, dodging Praia's fire and ice attacks.
Stopping on an ice platform in the air, he taunted, "Aren't you going to say anything?"
Mikahil continued to advance, creating small ice crystals that floated around him. He shot them at high speed towards Praia, who skillfully dodged and danced between the attacks. In response, Praia created swirling vortexes of flames that spread across the battlefield, preventing Mikahil from getting closer.
With rapid and precise movements, Mikahil summoned ice pillars from the ground, attempting to trap Praia in an ice prison. However, she was quicker and managed to evade, continuing to fire her torrents of fire.
Suddenly, all of Praia's attacks ceased, and the sound of clapping hands could be heard. With an expression of superiority, Praia opened her arms and said, "Cocoon." The mist dispersed, and hundreds of threads that branched off from a single, thick line extending from Praia's fingertips had taken control of the entire arena. All the ice that was present just moments ago had disappeared, and now with an arrogant tone, Praia spoke while looking at a large cocoon suspended in the air by the hundreds of threads, "So, Mikahil, are you comfortable up there?"
"Is this the best you've got? The dragons were more cool," Mikahil remarked candidly. The cocoon and all the threads around Mikahil were cut, leaving only the marks of the threads on his clothes and skin. With a smile on his face, he pointed at Praia, surrounded by twelve ice swords floating around him as he landed on a platform of ice in the air, far from all the other threads. "Now, what else do you have for me?"
