Chapter 24 - You're screwed

'Wait... I'm the strongest, and he defeated me... Those bitches won't be able to lay a finger on him then.' The fiery red glow appeared again, stronger than ever, and a huge smile formed on her face as she spoke with a velvety voice, "Alright, I've lost... This is my defeat."

Letting out a sigh, Mikahil stood up, looking at Praia's strangely joyful face. 'Don't tell me she's been a masochist all this time.' Mikahil thought. 'Well, whatever, I can use the system to learn more deeply about BDSM.'

'The important thing now is to savor this victory.' Pointing his finger at Praia, Mikahil said, "And that makes it two hundred and four victories for me." The statement was delivered with a proud tone, and within seconds, the most common reaction from the women in the audience was a soft chuckle.

'Huh? What are these bitches doing? What did I say that's so funny?' Mikahil thought, his fist clenching with frustration before Praia reacted to his remark, being the only one to burst into loud laughter.

"Hahaha, so you really counted all of our fights? Even back when we were kids? That's so silly," Praia stood up, sitting on the ground, easily shattering the ice crust that held her. She began to wipe her eyes.

"But it's good to know that you're still the same old idiotic Mikahil, you know? When we were fighting, you seemed like a different person. I almost cried thinking I had lost my little Mikahil." Praia spoke, her gaze containing four deadly glares that could cut him into pieces.

'Ah, Mikahil's caretaker and his little bitches are in the audience, what a mess.' Praia thought, now sensing an enemy presence very close to her, Mikahil this time with a grim expression and his fists clenched. She would hear something that made her body tremble as it entered her ears, "Are you sure you should be saying such things in your current situation?"

"Huh?" Praia's gaze fixed on Mikahil, her eyes widening at the sight before her. He appeared strangely larger than he should have been, his features distorted. The upper part of his face was enveloped in an ominous darkness, and only a vivid green gleam emanated from his left eye.

While maintaining her proud posture, Praia cleared her throat and spoke while pointing to Mikahil's face, "Oh? Is that so? What else should I expect from a monkey like you, right?"

'What will you say now in front of everyone, Mikahil?' Praia thought.

The pressure Mikahil was emitting and his image seemed to have grown even more imposing, increasing his size in Praia's sight. The moment she heard him speak, "Alright, it's decided. You're screwed now, in my hands."

'You really had the guts, didn't you?' Praia thought, lying back down on the ground and provocatively taunting Mikahil, "Well then, don't just talk, show me, little dog."

'You damn bitch... If I had the ability to stop time already, it would be a perfect opportunity to witness your total loss,' Mikhail thought, looking at Praia and smiling as she beckoned him with her finger.

In the midst of the arena's unfolding drama, four women within the audience shared subdued laughter, engaging in hushed conversation amongst themselves. However, this time, the focal point wasn't Mikahil; rather, it was Praia who astutely perceived their behavior. A simmering undercurrent of internal frustration surged within her as she turned her gaze and recognized Nina and her companions.

As Nina's gaze intersected with Praia's, she subtly conveyed a signal to the other girls. Their expressions were tinted with a mixture of superiority and scorn as they collectively absorbed the moment. In a barely audible voice, intended solely for Praia to decipher through lip reading, Nina delivered a succinct, impactful message: "You've just committed a big mistake"

"What? What is this damn girl talking about?" Praia thought, then felt a warm breath brushing her face as Mikahil leaned down beside her, extending his hand and saying, "Get up from there. You wouldn't want your mother to see you like this, would you?"

"Mother? Oh... Damn it, why is mom here? Shouldn't she be busy?" Without taking Mikahil's hand, sensing her mother's mana—something unmistakable—Praia tapped her right hand to the ground and bent her knees, propelling herself forward with a single push, rising to her feet just seconds before her mother opened the hidden door in one of the trees and emerged into the arena.

At this moment, as Kileana arrived, she would witness Mikahil leaning forward with his hand extended, while Praia stood with wide eyes and a racing heart. Misinterpreting the situation, she placed her hand in front of her face and said, "How Cute... But you're still too young to have only one woman, my dear Mikhail. You haven't forgotten your duty, have you?"

"Mom!! What are you talking about? Look, the situation isn't what you're thinking," Praia spoke with a slight blush appearing on her face, something only her mother could evoke until now.

Before Praia could continue, Mikahil interjected, speaking as he started to return to a normal stance, "Huh? What do you mean, Miss Kileana..." Mikahil realized his head was at the height of Praia's chest, causing him to quickly amend, "Oh, I get it, no... never would I choose Praia if I could have only one woman."

"What???!" Praia exclaimed, her tone furious, and the ground beneath her feet seemed to tremble as she slapped Mikahil's chest, saying, "And you should be the one to shut that mouth. This whole fight happened because I wanted nothing to do with you, you useless fake man."

"Why are you saying such things about him, daughter? Don't you realize that tarnishing a man's image like this will only stain our reputation?" Kileana spoke, appearing between the two and bringing with her a gust of wind that kicked up dust.

"Wait, how do you know I lost, Mom? Didn't you just arrive?" Praia asked, fear welling up within her.

"Well, she's the village leader, so she must have done something to find out, right, Kileana?" Mikhail spoke, a pleased smile forming as he looked at Praia.

"Bingo, you're smarter than I expected, Mikahil. I used mirror magic to reflect the arena's image, transmitting it to the mirror in my secret office. After all, I am the village leader and need to remain impartial, being away from the arena. No one can contest the result since I can't interfere that way," Kileana cast a quick glance around, noticing all the women were silent, watching the three in the arena.

'I'm really starting to doubt what Aika told me,' Mikahil thought as he saw the system alerting about an imminent danger again.
