After dealing with the items, the group gathered for a meeting.
"We gained a lot this time and we even managed to increase our levels without any casualties." When Kent said this, everyone smiled.
"Before we discuss the main part of this meeting, I'd like you guys to inform me about your current levels. This will be crucial in our plans since your levels and abilities will determine your job in the group." Kent paused for a moment to give everyone time to comprehend his words. To fully utilize everyone's abilities, he needed to understand their Gifts and their stats.
No one objected to his words. Even Rendell seemed to have tacitly approved his request. To this, Kent heaved a sigh of relief. This means that Rendell was starting to acknowledge his position as the strategist and brain of the group.
"Let's make this quick. I will start first. I'm already at Level 6 and my stats go like this…" Kent didn't miss any details. He calmly told everyone about his stats.
While he was speaking, Aurora was writing down everything. They had agreed to do this to keep track of everyone's progress.
The next person to volunteer was James. He proudly told them about his level and also his stats.
After that, everyone took turns stating their levels and stats.
Soon, only Rendell hasn't spoken.
Sensing everyone's gazes, he opened his mouth.
"I'm at Level 14. My strength is 33, my agility is 33, my vitality is 36,…"
Everyone's eyes widened when they heard his words. They didn't expect his level to be so high. Even Celine who had the second highest level after him was only Level 9! What made them even more shocked was his incredibly high stats.
"I don't know if this applies to everyone, but all my stats increased by 10 points after I reached Level 10. I also gained another Gift. It's called Domain." He didn't tell them about the rarity of his Gift. He still didn't fully trust everyone in the group so he kept a few things to himself.
Kent furrowed his eyebrows and rubbed his chin. "If what you're saying is true, this means that we will experience a huge leap in power after reaching Level 10."
Rendell shook his head. "I'm not sure about that. Celine is already at Level 9. We'll find out soon once she levels up." He responded.
Kent nodded in agreement.
Aurora handed the recorded data to Kent. The latter immediately folded the paper and kept it inside his pocket.
"Now, let's start with the main subject." Kent unrolled a map and showed it to the whole group. It was a map of Norhen, their home country.
Kent pointed at a specific area in Lochwall and said. "We are currently here. We need to pass by the elevated railway and the forest to arrive in Greyork." His finger moved slowly across the map to indicate the path they needed to take.
"We need to reach Greyork as soon as possible." He emphasized in a stern voice.
"We have a lot of things to carry. It might take us a long time to reach Greyork." Phillip muttered in a helpless voice.
The others nodded in agreement. Transporting their luggage was very difficult, especially in hot weather.
"We have already found a solution for this problem," Kent muttered with a smile as he pushed up his glasses.
Hearing this, everyone except Lina, Aurora, and Rendell were surprised.
"Huh? You already found a solution?" Phillip stared at Kent in disbelief.
Kent nodded. "Yes. I will explain it to you guys later. For now, allow me to make the arrangements for our formation."
Phillip was curious, but he didn't insist.
"Phillip and Sir Ralph will be the vanguard of our formation. Celine and I will stand behind you…" Kent then proceeded to tell them their formation. He also gave each individual a task that they needed to perform daily or in special situations. For instance, Marie and Lina had to cook for the group, and Aurora was tasked to handle inventory.
For special situations, Phillip who had the highest agility after Rendell would have to do scouting duties. Sherry's war lion would perform night duty, and so on.
Regarding their individual tasks and special duties, no one voiced any complaints. This was within Kent's expectations since he made sure that each task was the right fit for every individual.
"We will rest for two days to recuperate. After that, we will begin our journey to Greyork."
After the meeting, Rendell inspected his status screen. He still had 6 unallocated attribute points. "What should I increase this time?" He muttered while looking at his stats.
'Using my new Gift consumes a lot of mana. I should increase my mana first.' Rendell's Domain was very powerful, but the huge mana consumption would limit its usage rate. To maximize the potential of this Gift, Rendell decided to spend his attribute points on his mana.

While he was looking at his stats, he heard someone calling out to him.
"Hey!"
He turned his head and saw Aurora smiling at him. She was holding two cans of cola, a supply that was now considered a luxury.
She suddenly tossed one of the cans to him.
Rendell caught the can while looking at her with a calm gaze.
"I don't have a lot left so let's savor this taste while I still have some," Aurora said as she sat beside him.
"Thanks." Rendell looked away and kept a small distance from her.
Aurora noticed this, but she didn't seem to mind it. "What do you plan to do once we arrive in Greyork?" She asked as she tried to open the can of cola.
Rendell didn't answer her right away. He noticed that she was struggling to open her cola so he grabbed it from her and helped her open it.
"Thank you." Aurora smiled at this little gesture. He always had this cold look on his face, but she knew that he was a kind man deep inside.
