Arthur sat on the roof of the building for a while, the streets were very busy, Londoners making their way from night shifts and others just about to enter a club. However, their complex lives and feelings were reduced to a mere speck as Arthur remained an ambient spectator.
Eventually he collected himself and flew back to the hideout, making sure to avoid any potential sources of noise as he snuck back into his sleeping bag and drifted back to sleep.
The next morning went by as usual, Sam hogged the toilet for ages until Simon nearly broke the door down, Erin made breakfast in the form of a few eggs and some stale cookies she found in the cupboard and Arthur lay in for so long Simon nearly pronounced him dead. That was until the TV turned on and a perky news reporter had some breaking news to share.
"A slave trading centre known as Denizens was disrupted and disbanded last night, authorities claim that all of the victims were freed, and that there were no survivors of the group remaining, at this time it is unclear of who is responsible but authorities are investigating. Could there be a new vigilante in London? More with Bruce!"
"Well wouldya looka that! What a coincidence ey Arthur? That's Denizens there, you know what I was telling you about last night?"
"Mmm." Arthur mumbled.
"Or what was once Denizens anyway..." A tired looking Simon slumped onto the sofa next to Sam and Arthur.
"Ever tried smiling Simon? I think it'd suit ya..."
"This is bad news if you ask me, a vigilante targeting Margas never succeeds and nearly always ends up causing more problems than they started with!"
"We're quite literally the definition of vigilantes targeting Margas Simon." Arthur interjected.
"That's different."
"Sure man. Whatever."
However the late night escapades for Arthur did not stop, in fact they merely increased. Every week he would target a slave trading centre attempting to extract information about Brandt from any of the security, with little success. However he earned himself a reputation and slave traders began fearing him, business slowed for Margas as time passed and something had to be done, then one night as Arthur was liberating a slave trading centre, it happened.
