Guin sighed in resignation as soon as she arrived at Unbound Haven with Regine. She remembered the incident a few hours ago that almost caused major problems. Jerome and Ares nearly clashed with all their power and destroyed the safe house. If Regine hadn't arrived in time and stopped their fight, Guin feared she wouldn't have been able to go home today.
What made her feel dizzy was that Jerome suddenly decided to postpone his departure and wanted to take her home personally. Of course, she felt happy, but Guin wanted to make a good impression and didn't want to be selfish. Jerome was willing to listen to her pleas in the end and let the man go to the Eternal Empire after promising to return quickly.
Since she knew that Jerome and Ares's association was not very good, and her mate would not like hearing that she was being taken home by another man, Guin requested Regine to escort her home.
