Guin and Jerome arrived in front of a lion's mouth-like cave mouth. She couldn't see anything and wondered where the world connecting portal was. "Are we going into the cave?"
"This is not a cave, but a portal."
"Eh? I didn't feel any space rotation fluctuations."
"That's because the Beast Kings sealed the portal on the other side. Once we go through this portal, we can't go back through the portal, but we can use my teleport magic."
"Why don't we just teleport there?"
"That would let the kings know of our arrival. Using this portal, they won't be able to track us."
Jerome guessed someone, or maybe an army had been waiting for him on the other side. "Just in case, when we arrive, don't make a sound no matter what you see."
"Okay." In this second, Guin acknowledged Jerome's words. Well, she had no choice but to believe him. Moreover, she found surrendering herself to him much easier than refusing and resisting.
