Chapter 4 - Bold Decision

"We must contain the calamity or else everyone might suffers."

"We must not haste as the tide is still."

"We must spend no time as when the calamity struck we're left with regret."

"We need to calm our mind and think clearly."

"We need to act right now."

"We need..."

"We must..."

"WE ARE GOING TO KILL MALAKAR!!!"

Then the whole meeting fell silent. One bold word came from The King of the Human Kingdom, Aldric Valemont. The other three kings looked at him with doubt, even questioning his right to be a king. In the past, The King of the Human Kingdom was considered too young to inherit the land and its people. However, Aldric is a determined young man, willing to do anything to achieve his dreams. His struggle and competition with his siblings are testament to his resolve.

Aldric Valemont stood his ground, not speaking randomly to gain their attention. He had his own methods for solving crises, honed over nearly 20 years in Arcaeloria, The Kingdom of Humans. His track record proves that Aldric is a worthy king, embodying the leadership qualities and first-rate intelligence befitting his role as a leader of humanity.

"King of Humans, Aldric Valemont, are you consent the meaning of words you highly speak of?" ask The King of Beastman Tribe, Leonhardt The Brave.

"I am a man with words, I consent in every word I speak and I won't back from my words." answer The King of Human.

"Then do you know who we have been speaking about from the beginning?" ask The King of Valhalla, Seraphion.

"I do and I have solution to get whatever I want." The King of Human getting on his nerve.

"We shall not haste, Aldric Valemont." said the man who speak high and almighty beyond the four kings, Raja The True Administrator.

Beyond The Four Kings, there is one who maintains the stability of the four kingdoms—a mediator between them and the ruler of peace. He keeps the balance of the world's environment, as each kingdom has its own traits. Appointed by The Four Kingdoms themselves, none shall defy his decisions, for he is both the mediator and the decision-maker.

He is The Sage of White, a descendant of the first king of Valhalla. His judgment should not be doubted, as he remains impartial to all sides of the kingdoms, including his own kin. Now that The Sage of White has grown old and is soon to be replaced, the emergence of a new crisis compels him to maintain his status as The True Administrator.

"We have our own plans, we have our own solution. But a great plan has its own pace to rule and change the tides. Therefore, The King of Human, Aldric Valemont, and the other three kings, let's set up the plan and control our own tides."

The result was unexpected. Aldric became increasingly impatient as the horror drew nearer. Nevertheless, he respected the decision of The True Administrator, as a good king should. The meeting then returned to its original state, with the other kings presenting their endless solutions.

But then, it lasted until The King of the Beastman Tribe smashed the roundtable.

"ENOUGH!!! We're just running in circle if this is the way. I'm ashamed that I must say this but I admit, I agree with The King of Humans."

Unexpectedly, Aldric was shocked to find that the usually arrogant King of the Beastman Tribe agreed with what he had previously denied. Not only was Aldric surprised, but the other kings were also astonished by the Beastman Tribe King's sudden shift in stance. However, The True Administrator remained silent, allowing The King of the Beastman Tribe to present his argument.

"But don't get me wrong, The King of Humans solution is reckless BUT! It is bold. We need bold solution to get to the bottom of this. I on the other hand, will speak my BOLD decision. We're The Beastman Tribe, WILL HUNT DOWN The Star Tamer."

Suddenly, The King of Valhalla stood up and raised his voice, "Unacceptable, bold decision doesn't mean sacrificing your people for another day. Do you underestimated his power?!"

"If bold decision align with what your people desired the most and express your true nature of handling such crisis..." The King of Elven Great Forest then lean back to his chair, "...Then my people and I will sit this one out, for us cannot defy the rule of nature."

Another bold decision was made by another king. Unlike the other two, The King of the Great Elven Forest, Faeloria, chose the path of peace rather than the ruthless approach taken by the others. His preference for peace over violence is a natural instinct passed down through generations.

Upon hearing The King of the Great Elven Forest's bold decision, the other kings flinched, shocked that he could still choose the path of peace despite the panic reported by his own men. It was indeed a bold decision, the boldest any king could make. If killing the most horrendous being could be considered an underestimation, then leaving it as it is might be considered far worse than merely underestimating.

His eyes showed no fear towards Malakar, even after witnessing the horror firsthand 2,000 years ago.

The meeting paused in silence for a moment. Then, they heard chuckles from the king who had yet to give his bold answer.

Seraphion, The King of Valhalla, from the Kingdom of Sky Residents, laughed uncontrollably after hearing the other kings' responses. The Sky Residents are a mighty race capable of living up to ten thousand years, and Seraphion is one of the few who has witnessed The Evil King's chaos across the land. His own kingdom was not exempt from this calamity.

Seraphion is a man of dignity, standing tall with rational thoughts. He is also blessed with four wings, a symbol of the worthiness of a king among the Sky Resident race. His halo shines brightly, and his long hair flows as magic courses through his body, enhancing his physique and powers. It is a rare sight for him to display his emotions in front of important figures.

"So it is what you people have become after getting hit very hard in the past 2,000 years. I see, the game you're playing. Then let me participate with this BOLD decision game everyone playing." Seraphion clenched his fist and raised his hand to display his might, "We The Kingdom of Valhalla, will make Malakar bow down to our MIGHT!!!"

The meeting of the kings grew heated. The eyes of The King of the Beastman Tribe, Leonhardt, and The King of Humans, Aldric Valemont, widened with surprise. In contrast, The King of the Great Elven Forest, Elion Thalorion, kept his eyes closed, indicating the firmness of his decision. Seraphion's resolution to take control of Malakar, a nearly impossible feat with significant consequences for the future of mankind, plunged the discussion into utter chaos.

"Hexelina is in our hands and it's possible to gain control of the other warlords using her power." said The King of Valhalla.

"Well if that's the case, we also have Lord Aurelian obedient in our hands. We will use it first to gain control of the others then your Hexelina." respond The King of Beastman Tribe.

"If I may speak our findings, we also find Thornshade along with Malakar. But I will keep it confidential as the other kings may disrupt our peace." said The King of Great Elven Forest.

"Then it leaves one warlord unattended, I and our men will be the first." provoke The King of Humans.

The meeting concluded with The Four Kings intending to first gain control of the five warlords before attempting to subdue Malakar, the most difficult to conquer. However, gaining their control does not equate to long-term cooperation. Each king has their own motives for shaping the world according to their vision.

The True Administrator found himself in a difficult position once again, as The Four Kings refused to cooperate to prevent the looming calamity. Despite his role as mediator for The Four Kingdoms, he had no authority to interfere once the kings had made their decisions. Nevertheless, The True Administrator succeeded in preventing The Four Kingdoms from waging war and destroying each other.

The Four Kings made bold choices to gain control of each warlord who had previously wreaked havoc on their kingdoms, instilling everlasting nightmares in their people. Little did they know, each warlord had their own motives and agendas, living out their own schemes. The cunning minds of these warlords could not be underestimated, as they only brought chaos and destruction to those they served.

One known as The Doll's Eye is imprisoned alone within a giant anti-magic dome, spending her time playing in the dark with her one and only doll. The one known as The Bloodthirst runs a grand casino in the Beastman Tribe's territory, drawing people into dangerous addictions that deplete their wealth. Lastly, The Flower Princess has gone to the place where the Alexandria family once resided.

The Young Man witnessed the ruins of what was once the wealthiest family in the world, alongside Anna Marigold, known as Belladonna Thornshade in the past.

"He experienced the tragedy caused by the woman standing beside him. The cruelty of one of The Evil King's warlords lingered as the ruins seemed to shout in silence. The screams of people who had suffered through the nightmare echoed through every wreckage, crying out for help, vengeance, and, worst of all...

Greed

"Now you know why The Evil King order me to slaughter this family. It has a meaning indeed but I... We have no idea why he order me to." Anna reminiscing.

"A second chance to live. Maybe not the answer why I'm still here."

"Nor I am if that's the case."

"Just what is his reason, to let me live and see another day."
