Nobody expected his appearance or even his existence... The Star Tamer ascended and made everything worse.
Hexelina, The Doll's Eye, was more than enough to wreak havoc in the Kingdom of Valhalla. Utilizing her army of dolls, Hexelina conquered the kingdom as if she were playing house with her toys. Smiling and laughing, the cursed girl delighted in destroying and causing chaos while the residents trembled in fear.
Hexelina is a little girl with black and white hair, mismatched eyes—one black and one white—and a doll-like dress in matching colours. She clutches a pink doll tightly. Her eyes gleam with excitement as she gazes at the suffering souls she has taken control of, and her smile never fades as long as there are people still suffering before her. A maniac, she loves to play with people shape and control them as if they were her dolls.
Her magical ability allows her to control any dolls and even create them from unexpected materials, such as the bodies of living residents. The kingdom's knights are forced to fight their own kin because of Hexelina's cursed magic. It's a troublesome yet fragile power.
The dolls were weak and fragile, but there were so many of them that no one could withstand the pain after being hit by one. Thus, the Knights of Valhalla launched every single artillery spell they had at the dolls, avoiding direct combat with any of them. The attacks were effective, but there were far too many dolls, turning the fight into an endless battle.
The former Captain of the Seven Pillars of Light then voluntarily sought out and engaged Hexelina herself in battle to end the chaos.
A brave decision by the Captain at the time, he instructed Eryndor and the other members to guard the city while he flew off in search of Hexelina. But Eryndor refused; he couldn't just sit back, casting spells, while his captain faced the wickedness alone. Knowing that Eryndor would be stubborn, the Captain then asked him and the others to clear the way and gather intel to locate Hexelina. Eryndor and the other members agreed.
Thus, the Captain and his subordinates flew through the Kingdom of Valhalla in search of The Doll's Eye. They defeated many of Hexelina's troops and quickly cleared a path to her location. As expected from the elite forces of the Valhalla Kingdom, they flew at incredible speeds, destroying any obstacles that stood in their way.
As expected, Hexelina attempted to take over the kingdom by infiltrating the Valhalla throne—the seat of power for the entire Kingdom of Sky.
Not long after, Hexelina was found with a Young Man whose identity was unknown. The Young Man gave her a uniquely crafted doll, which excited Hexelina greatly due to its cuteness. The Young Man smiled and whispered something in her right ear. Afterward, Hexelina proceeded to the throne room, leaving the Young Man behind.
But the Captain wouldn't allow her to enter the throne room. He immediately unleashed his magic to enhance his flying speed and blocked her path.
"Step no further, wicked. Before me lies-"
But before the Captain could finish his lines, the Young Man and Hexelina vanished from sight in the blink of an eye. The Captain turned around, hearing Hexelina scream in annoyance. He was right; Hexelina was now right in front of the throne room gate, carried by the young man as if he were hauling a barrel under his arm.
"Don't treat me like a thing, I'm a princess A BEAUTIFUL PRINCESS!!!" Hexelina throw a tantrum.
"My bad, I'm not accustomed with this kind of thing." feeling guilty, the Young Man then put her down.
"(At least hold me like a princess.)" said Hexelina whispering to herself.
"Did you say something?"
"Nothing, you silly! I'm off..." Hexelina turn her back and enter the throne room.
The Young Man's speed was equal to the Captain's flying speed, allowing him to reach the throne room effortlessly. He easily avoided the Captain's attempts to block his path, doing so with less effort than the Captain required.
After finishing his task, the Young Man turned around to face the meddlesome residents of the sky. It turned out he was the Captain of the Seven Pillars of Light. In his eyes, everyone looked the same, except for The Evil King. His gaze knew no fear and sharply recognized the prowess of his opponents, which can never be equal with him.
For the first time in his life, the Captain felt the aura of despair from his enemy—an entity so high and mighty that it shattered the pride of the sky residents themselves. Eryndor, who was far behind, also trembled in fear as he sensed the battle aura emanating from the Young Man.
And now, he felt the same way towards the man who had deflected his spears of light.
"Malakar..." Eryndor say in angry tone.
Upon finding Malakar, Eryndor was stunned to see him again after so many years. He recalled the face of the man who had defeated the former captain, witnessing his death right before his eyes. As expected, Malakar's face had not changed even after two thousand years. It was still the same face that had accepted the blood of his former captain.
"Ahahaha... Stop this commotion in an instant. Attacking an innocent just because I used them as a scapegoat, I guess you people still incompetent like before." said the lady who came from behind the innocent couple carrying big bag of hers. She pluck something out of the couples ears, "Excuse me..."
She is Anna Marigold, known as The Thornshade and feared by many, especially by the people of this small city. However, no one is aware of her true identity; instead, she is known as the flower lady from Anna's Flowershop. She reveals herself to others as Belladonna Thornshade by wearing a hibiscus flower accessory on her head.
"Belladonna Thornshade... It can't be." The Captain confused, he doubted their presence.
Anna and the Young Man then removed the rings from their ring fingers. An explosion of mana erupted, spreading throughout the city and causing ordinary people to flee in fear. Only two individuals remained, enduring the overwhelming aura of fear right before the casters.
"Mrs. Anna... You can't be-"
"The truths always hurts, Liam. And pretty girlfriend you got there." she then wink her eye to Liam, her regular at the shop.
The Young Man, known as Steve, nodded to signal that it was okay for them to leave. Liam and his girlfriend quickly departed, leaving the two of them surrounded by members of the Seven Pillars of Light. This had been their plan all along.
The members of the Seven Pillars of Light drew their weapons, ready to attack at their captain's command. However, their standby position was merely a protocol in case something went wrong. The Captain descended from the air and walked confidently towards the Young Man known as Malakar and Anna Marigold, who was also known as Belladonna Thornshade in the past.
The Captain dismissed his magic and began to speak as he confronted Malakar and Belladonna.
"Malakar, The Star Tamer, I never forget the name nor the face who brings us despair in the past. Moreover, the grief you gave us at that day."
The young man looked sharply at the Captain, confused by being addressed as Malakar. He didn't remember his past, but the Captain's eyes conveyed a truth about his name from before. Likewise, he had forgotten Anna's name when they had served The Evil King, and he didn't recall Belladonna.
"So, what do you want? You know you never had a chance to win against us, right?" ask Anna confidently.
"That's the topic from two thousand years ago." said Eryndor then cast his magic.
With his mana flowing through his hand, the Captain summoned his spear of light and aimed it at the Young Man's neck. The spear emitted a bright light capable of melting the skin of ordinary people, but the young man was different. He felt nothing, as if the spear were made of steel with a bulb planted inside.
"I ask you to surrender, in the name of The King of Valhalla. You already know that nobody will accept you anymore in this place, right? A cursed being like you."
Hatred burned in the Captain's eyes. Despite the two thousand years that had passed, he still couldn't forget the resentment he felt on the day he lost the captain he had admired the most. The Young Man perceived this hatred clearly by simply staring back into his eyes.
The young man then closed his eyes to clear his mind.
"I've surrendered, since I was awaken for the second time." the Young Man then open his eyes again, "For I cannot fulfill my revenge to them who slain my lord. And so, let's end this story."
Receiving an unexpected response from the Young Man, the Captain smiled. He then covered his face, giggling behind his hand. In one swift motion, the Captain uncovered his face and launched an attack on the Young Man, smiling like a madman.
"CURSE ME IF I WOULD!!!" shout The Captain.
The Captain attacked the Young Man rapidly with his spear, dancing with it as he tried to strike the man he hated most. Despite his exceptional skill in weaponry and martial arts, he wasn't strong or fast enough to land a hit on the Young Man.
"Everyone, ATTACK!!!"
With a quick cast from every member of the Seven Pillars of Light, they summoned a giant beam of light from above to smite the Young Man and Anna with their magic. The light descended at the speed of light, and the formation of the Seven Pillars of Light members prevented them from leaving the circle. It was supposed to be a direct hit, but the outcome was unexpected.
The young man and Anna vanished from sight, leaving no trace behind. Anomalies occurred as the light magic they cast neither pierced nor scorched the ground. Additionally, the members suffered no damage, not even minor injuries.
"Heyyooo....!" Anna's voice could be heard echoing from the walls far from where they were standing.
Anna and the Young Man could be seen standing atop the wall right above the gate. His left sleeve was burned away, and light magic radiated from his left arm. The light slowly faded as it was absorbed into his body.
"Curses!" shout The Captain.
"As the man said, we're no longer looking for trouble! But you're right we couldn't live here any longer, so goodbye. Don't try to stop us! And if you do...."
Anna left her sentence unfinished, leaving the rest a mystery for those who would dare disobey her demands. The members of the Seven Pillars of Light prepared to go after them, but the Captain stopped them, extending his arm to signal that there was no need to pursue.
"But Captain?!" ask one of his subordinate.
"It's no need, our goals have been fulfilled. And we'll leave the kingdom to take care the rest. We're here just to lure them out and save the city from their grasp."
Even after saying those words, the Captain's hatred continued to overflow, fueled by his failure to engage in battle and exact his revenge.

"You've done well, Lysander Eryndor. Now it's the time to wait and see who will move their pawn next."
