The final boss of the game had fully lost his mind. It was the only option for Aamon to stop him at this point, and that was for him to eventually utilize his lightning to weaken his talents. If Aamon were to do that, however, he was aware that it would be more challenging for him to convince him of his point of view.
If he did not make a decision about the situation as soon as possible, Aamon would likely pass away at this moment. And just as Aamon was in the midst of his thoughts, the final boss attacked him once more in a hurry.
