"What the hell?" Arex let out a sudden, fierce growl.
His temper flared uncontrollably upon hearing Grecko's words. It felt as if only a moment had passed since Arex had dared to believe that Grecko was genuinely committed to using his scythe to assist him.
However, discovering how he addressed him now caused Arex to reconsider his thoughts, suspecting that Grecko might have ulterior motives.
"Calm down, Arex. It isn't the way you think it is."
"The hell with that, Grecko. If it isn't what I think it is, then tell me what it is, huh? You tell me!" The gravity in Arex's voice suggests that he was no longer interested in playing games with Grecko.
While this was going on, Grecko had made it abundantly clear from the very beginning that he was not joking around with Arex either.
