Sign the divorce paper she heard her husband saying or let's say her ex husband saying, with tears rolling down from her eyes Tamara took the pen laying on the table and signed the divorce papers.
She couldn't believe her one year marriage just ended like that, she didn't know where to start from, no family members to meet. Before leaving the house with the divorce papers with him he said "Get rid of that baby and also leave the house before I get back" leaving the house
Tamara couldn't believe her ears...how could he be so heartless to get rid of their own child expressing their love. Flash back of how they fell in love and proposed to her started flashing through her mind with tears rolling down from her eyes. Tamara finally got up after crying for an hour, went to their room which was no longer her room again she packed her luggages and left the house.
With no where to go to and no one to rely on she found her self going to Fiona's house, her only best friend and her true family. After 15 minutes ride she got to Fiona's house.
Fiona was having a phone call with someone when she heard the door bell she ended the call heading towards the door to open the door. Fiona was shocked to see Tamara in a messy state, without asking her what had happened she gestured her to enter. Tamara got inside sitting down she couldn't help but sob loudly. Fiona tried comforting her but to no avail. She knew it wasn't the right time to ask her what happened. She took her to the guest room... after Tamara crying for more than an hour straight, she dozed off.
Without her trying to wake her up or make a noise, she left the room quitely.
Next morning, Tamara woke up early with a serious headache after crying for so long last night. She managed to get up from bed and went to freshen up.
Fiona walked up to her room to check on her, when she entered her room she was surprised to see her awake. Fiona sat her down and asked her what happened last night. Tears started rolling down from her eyes remembering she's now a divorcee. She told Fiona how Dixon said he was no longer interested in their relationship, asking her to sign the divorce papers and aborting their child.
Hearing what Tamara said, she told her not to cry again. "Tamara you shouldn't allow a man like him to hurt you, babe you need to stop crying and fight for yourself, you shouldn't allow someone like him to destroy your life" Fiona said comforting her. She continued "Crying won't solve anything babe" she said hugging her.
Still in her arms, she replied in between her sobs " I...I...ca...can't fight Fiona" saying this, she continued crying loudly. " If not for your self do it for your unborn child". Fiona said. She assured Tamara saying she won't allow anything to happen to her and her unborn child.
Fiona left the room telling Tamara she has to go to work...Tamara knew she wasn't going to be a burden on her. She brought out her phone and searched online for a job. She saw a job interview happening tomorrow with a good salary, she decided to apply for it and go for the interview tomorrow.
She checked the time on her phone and saw it was already past 12 she remembered that she hasn't eaten since morning. She got down from the bed, leaving her room to the kitchen. Tamara ended up cooking noodles and egg, with that she ate and waited for her food to digest before she feel asleep in her room.
