Chapter 46 - More Looting!

After not finding anything useful at the counter, Theodore walked away to look for the rest of his group. One of them must have checked the pharmacy room here.

"Why didn't they call me," Theodore muttered when he realized they hadn't called him, thinking they hadn't found the pharmacy room yet.

Theodore walked in the opposite direction from where he was, and then he saw one of his group members, so he walked toward them.

"Hey, did you guys find anything useful?" Theodore asked when he was near them.

"I heard someone found a place for medicine. We were just about to go there," they replied.

"Alright, let's check it out." Theodore followed them to the pharmacy.

Although Theodore knew there was a pharmacy in this place, he didn't know where the room was, so it was better to follow them. It seemed like they heard the person who found the pharmacy shouting to report his findings, but Theodore was too far away to listen to it.

Sure enough, the pharmacy was near the other exit, quite far from where Theodore was before, so naturally, he didn't hear the voices of those who reported having found this place.

"What did you guys find?" Theodore asked his group members, who had almost all gathered.

From what Theodore observed, only two people had not gathered here yet. It seemed like they had also wandered around far enough not to have heard of this discovery.

"It looks like there will be a lot of medicine inside. But, the problem is that the door to enter the storage area is locked from the inside."

Theodore tried to open the door; sure enough, it was locked, so he turned to his group members.

"You didn't find the key to the door?" Theodore thought the door key must be kept around this room.

"We looked for it but couldn't find anything," one of them replied, shaking his head.

"Then there's no other choice; we have to destroy the door," Theodore replied as he shrugged his shoulders dismissively.

Everyone there looked at Theodore in shock. They didn't expect him to decide to destroy the door.

"Isn't that how you will cause a commotion and lure the zombies here?" Finally, someone dared to open their voice to warn Theodore about the risks that might occur if they destroyed the door.

"There are no zombies in this area; we've killed them all," Theodore said, rolling his eyes lazily.

It was only then that the soldiers realized that what Theodore had said was true, too. All this time, they had been moving cautiously for fear of being ambushed by zombies, and they thought that there must still be zombies around this building.

But it was confirmed that when they entered this place, almost all the zombies in this area ran towards the commotion that Theodore had made by pushing the door earlier.

"Are you sure there are no zombies here, young man?" The soldiers' faces were still doubtful. They couldn't just say that there were no zombies in the area.

"Even if there are, it's your job to kill them," Theodore replied casually with a smirk.

If it wasn't for Theodore's good skills, the soldiers would have finished him off by now, especially after he had played them like this.

Meanwhile, Theodore didn't bother with the soldiers' remarks and started using the base of his sword to hit the door handle firmly. With just one blow from the hilt of his sword, the door handle came right off.

Theodore smashed the door with his shoulder and quickly opened the storage door.

The only surprise was that they heard someone scream when Theodore managed to open the door to the storage room. They immediately thought that there were people who survived in this storage room.

Since Theodore smashed the door, he was the first to see two humans inside the storage area. They seemed to be hugging each other while closing their eyes in fear.

"Hey, there's a survivor." Theodore turned to the soldiers and pointed at the two people in the corner of the room.

The soldiers had previously been ordered by Victor to rescue anyone trapped inside the hospital, so they quickly followed Theodore into the room to check on the two survivors.

Theodore handed over the two survivors to the soldiers while he chose to check the storage room, looking through the medicines there.

When no one was looking, Theodore decided to take some stock of the medicine there and put it in the sacred dimension.

Then, Theodore was approached by one of the soldiers who seemed interested in discussing the survivor they had found.

"I want to discuss this. What do you think we should do with them?"

"It would be hazardous if we take them. Wouldn't it be better to take them away from here and put them in the car?" Theodore also gave the soldier his thoughts.

"But we can't just leave them waiting in the car either. You know anything can happen in a difficult situation like this," the soldier explained his concerns.

"That's right. Then let's send one of our members to guard them in the car and bring the medical supplies here to the car." Theodore finally gave his suggestion.

"Let's do it like that. I'll call one of my subordinates to bring them." The soldier finally agreed with Theodore's suggestion.

As the soldier asked one of his subordinates to prepare to bring these two people back to the car, Theodore helped the other soldiers gather the medicines in this room.

Theodore also reminded them to bring some because no one knew what would happen to them on the way.

Finally, after finishing the preparations, they released one of their members to return to their military car.

Then, Theodore went to the soldier, who he guessed was the real leader of this group. He wanted to tell them that they had to get ready to continue their journey, which meant they had to open the door on the right side before.

"We must continue our journey immediately. The problem is that we must open the door on the right side," Theodore said later.

"I guess we have to go that way." The soldier sighed as he realized they had to re-prepare the group to deal with another large wave of zombies.

Theodore was also quite tense, facing another huge wave of zombies. He was confident that he could eliminate the zombies, but he was still anxious because a bad situation could happen at any moment.
