After that, I went home and changed my clothes in my room. Can't imagine myself getting a girlfriend the day after I got cheated on.
But as I was wearing my clothes, Vivian called my phone. How did she get my number, you ask? Simple… I have no clue as well. Nevertheless, I answered the phone.
— "What do you want, Vivian?"
— "It's time for you to fulfil your part of the deal, Adam."
— "If you somehow got my number then come over instead."
As if on cue, she hung up the call and I continued to change my clothes. And so I did and after waiting for twenty-five-minutes downstairs on the sofa, the doorbell rang and wouldn't you know it, she was here already.
— "Your house is so barren and dark, where are your parents?"
— "Not in my life, that's for sure."
I responded playfully but immediately got serious.
— "How did you know where I live and my number?"
Vivian shrugged whilst looking at me.
— "Easy. I pestered your ex-girlfriend, Sam, about it."
— "Just come in."
And so she did and she made her way to my room without asking me first.
— "For someone so woeful and alone, you sure are clean and organised."
She said before sitting down on the edge of my bed and laying down.
— "You're really making yourself comfortable in my home, huh."
— "Of course I am, you're my property after all."
— "Would it really hurt you to call me your boyfriend?"
She thinks for a bit before positioning herself to the left side of the bed before looking at me and patting the bed.
— "Come here, I want you to cling to me like I'm what is keeping you alive."
— "What does that even mean?"
— "Just do as I say, boyfriend"
She said sarcastically. Oh, I forgot about my end of the deal. I'll make her act like my girlfriend even though this is a one-way relationship.
I then laid down on the bed and did as told by holding her tightly with my arms around her waist and my face resting on the nook of her shoulder. She smelled like sweet strawberries…
…Suddenly, she started caressing the back of my head and wrapping her legs around my body. She whispered to my ear.
— "There, there. I will always be with you and I will never leave you like she did."
Even though I can tell that she's lying to my face, I can't help but cry on her shoulder. I don't care if she's only doing this for her own gains, I want her to show me love even if it's fake… I couldn't care less anymore.
— "Don't leave me, please… I love you."
She closed her eyes whilst she continued to hold me and caressing the back of my head.
— "Shh… It's going to be alright. I won't lie to you like she did. I won't let you cry again. I won't let anyone hurt you… You don't need your parents' warmth when I'm with you, you got that?"
She thinks I'm stupid. A tactic used by abusive people. They compare themselves to the people that have hurt their victims. But I couldn't care less. Even if she's lying to me, I don't care… I just don't anymore.
I could hear her pen write behind my ear. She still had the small notebook whilst she continued to hold me close. I don't care if she's only doing this to gouge a reaction out of me for her stories.
Her pen fell out of her hand and rolled out of the bed along with her small notebook as I pinned her on the bed with her legs still wrapped around my body whilst I stayed on top of her and my forearm on the bed beside her face. My tears fell out of my eyes and into her face…
…And without saying anything, I closed my eyes and lowered myself to kiss her. Tears continued to flow down my face whilst we both kissed each other. Her lips tasted like strawberries.
I then move on to her neck, making trails of kisses from her lips to her cheeks and to her neck before sucking on the small bit of skin on her neck next to her throat and gently nibbling and biting on it, creating a mark.
A few seconds after that, I laid down and clung to her side.
— "That felt good for you, did it not?"
— "It did…"
— "Believe it or not, my boyfriend never kissed me nor has done anything like this. And… I was quite shocked by that kiss. I never expected you to do that."
— "It's good that I was the first to steal your lips."
I've become more reliant on her emotionally. Even if our relationship is a lie, I don't want it to end. I want her–No, I need her. I'll never let this end. I'll make the most of it more than she could make more use of me to her.
