Chapter 4 - Blood on my shirt, heart in my hand still beating

The soft yellow-orange light of the sundown slowly crept towards the room, illuminating half of the empty classroom.

The chairs of the classroom were pushed to the desk and the curtains have been undone, along with the window being closed.

The classroom itself was empty since we all went home but before I could leave, Sam somehow sent me a text to stay in the classroom. I thought I blocked her? Whatever. I'll entertain her and myself.

— "What do you want to talk about, Sam?"

— "I heard you started dating Viv–No. The 'witch'."

— "So what? You called me alone in here just to tell me that or what? I didn't stay after class to listen to you ramble about how you made a mistake cheating on me."

I left the empty classroom. She didn't even try stopping me.

I walked back home and when I got back home, I could see Vivian from the window of the living room… What is she doing here? More importantly, how did she get in here? I don't even have spare keys to this house.

I approached the front door to find a broken hair-clip. I'm guessing she used it to unlock the door.

When I entered, I could see that she's wearing an apron with a long-sleeved turtle-neck sweater. She's been wearing it since this day because of the hickey I left on her neck.

— "Were you expecting me to be naked underneath the apron? That would be moronic."

— "To be frank with you, I was."

I leaned to the side to see that she was frying tempura. It does make sense to wear something long to protect her skin from the popping oil that might splash onto her skin.

— "You broke into my house, started cooking, and I bet you expect me to be okay with this? Because you'd be correct."

— "I know I would be–wait a second. You look sadder than usual, that's no good."

She turned around and turned off the stove before walking towards me and putting her face close to mine.

— "You talked to her, did you not?"

— "I did. What about it?"

Her eyes widened and immediately narrowed. She's agitated.

— "Now the mood is ruined. I will not be able to get a good reaction out of you for my story. Because that wench had to ruin it all for me."

She turned back around and turned on the stove again.

— "Whatever, I have already started cooking anyway. It would be a waste if I threw it all away now."

She continued cooking a batch of tempura. She was still mad even though she was focused on watching the shrimp cooking over hot oil…

…And so I decided to put my arms around her waist from behind and rest my face on her neck. I didn't care if she didn't react to it whilst she was still cooking.

She was still focused on cooking but her expression softens a bit.

After a few seconds of that, I let go of her and sat down on the dining table but not long after that, she set the food she had cooked—tempura, pork cutlet, and curry along with freshly cooked rice. She took the seat adjacent to mine

Instead of her using silverware, she instead brought her own utensils: a pair of chopsticks. And before I could say anything about it, she grabs a piece of the pork cutlet with the chopstick and leaned forward on the table, showing her bosoms even though she was wearing a black turtle-neck sweater.

— "Say 'aaa'."

— "You know you don't have to do this, right?"

— "Just do as I say and let me have this for once. You got what you wanted with me now, obey what I ask of you."

I sighed and opened my mouth and closed my eyes as she was getting too close to my face…

— "Aaa."

…But instead of her putting the cutlet on my mouth, she planted a kiss that lasted a good three seconds which made me open my eyes quickly.

A soft visible blush formed across my face whilst I looked at her with slightly a furrowed frown.

After that, she leaned back on her chair.

— "That's a good reaction."

She then took out her small notebook and pen again and started writing. She broke into my house, cooked food without asking me first, only for her to gouge a simple reaction like this. The troubles she went through just to do that. Now I understand why her ex-boyfriend is emotionally broken
