As Eve walked back home, she thought about what she had seen. The king lying down and receiving treatment was no small of a deal. Also, Callum had told her not to tell anyone. That includes not telling Maidservant Ann also. Queen Opaline is also oblivious of it, but then, why her? she thought. Why would Callum come to her personally and ask for such a favor from her?
She wondered if the king was really fine.
Eve was so lost in her thoughts that she failed to see Moon coming in front of her who stopped upon seeing her, and because she didn't realize he was there, she walked past him and continued on her way.
Moon tilted his head a little and pulled his brows slightly. He wondered why she was out this early and he wondered if her wound was fine. He made to continue on his way, but then, he suddenly had a change of mind and turned his feet back to start following her.
