That morning when Maidservant Ann woke up, she stepped out of her room and the servants in the house greeted her as she passed. She went out of the house and she saw Eve who sat under the tree with her knees held to herself. She moved closer to her and when Eve noticed her presence, she looked up and then stood to her feet.
"Good morning Maidservant Ann. Is there anything you want?"
Maidservant Ann knows that Eve must have wondered what she was doing out early this morning as she was always in her room, but that was when the illness took over her. Now, at least, she could worry less about it, instead, there are some things that had to be done.
She smiled at her and said, "No, there is nothing. I just want to take a stroll out of the palace."
Eve blinked and asked, "Did you just say, out of the palace?"
Maidservant Ann gave a nod and said, "I won't be long."
"But…you've not gone out of the palace for a long time."
