Hearing his son call him dad for the first time since he had witnessed him being born into that cruel world with a cruel fate inscribed in his name, Max gave Ashton a subtle nod and he ran his fingers through his hair.
"Of course, I have a lot to teach you as well but first, we have to go to Master Chen. The tables have been turned and a new dispensation will break out soon."
Ashton, only citing the evil in his father's word, had a slight nod and began to trail after his Max as he led the way to Master Chen's pavilion. As they walked out of the room, a large asteroid suddenly descended from above and it crashed into one of the rooms. As the asteroid fell, both father and son got swamped backwards due to the massive gust of wind the asteroid had penetrated into the dorm.
