Is it for real?
As the events of the past two days raced through his mind, Evan couldn't shake the feeling of being trapped in a relentless cycle of frustration and longing. With a heavy heart, he found himself yearning to revisit the moments leading up to his current turmoil, hoping to make sense of it all.
So, let's rewind time and journey back to two days before, when the seeds of uncertainty were just beginning to take root.
In a modest single-person apartment, a young man in his early twenties sat engrossed in the game "I am on Supreme Path." Despite its waning popularity and the disinterest of other players, he remained dedicated to completing it, driven solely by his attachment to a particular character within the game.
Unlike the typical hero or villain, this character held a special place in his heart, compelling him to persist through the game's complexities and challenges.
Frustrated because he is not able to save his favorite character, he yells every sec
"What the hell… why isn't it working"
"I was so close to it"
"huh"
"It seems the only way to save her is by taking that pathway suggested by some game fan in the comments," Evan muttered to himself, his mind fixated on the words that had sparked a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness of uncertainty.
"but it is almost Immmmpossiblee"
Frustrated and overwhelmed, Evan vented his emotions aloud in front of the screen, gripping it tightly in his hands.
"If only I were inside the game... I could follow that pathway," he exclaimed bitterly, his voice tinged with longing. "Hell, if only it were reality and not some game."
Seeking solace, he retrieved a few beers from the fridge, hastily opening one and downing it in a single gulp before stepping outside onto the balcony.
Suddenly, his relaxation was shattered by the arrival of a police car in front of his apartment. Across from it stood a gangster, wielding a gun and visibly wounded, blood staining his legs.
"Hey dude, isn't this a really dangerous situation?" Evan's mind raced with the gravity of the scene before him.
In a panicked attempt to escape, the gangster fired the gun into the air, but his injured leg caused him to stumble. In the chaos, the gun's aim shifted towards Evan, and a bullet was fired.
Frozen in fear or shock, Evan found himself unable to move as time seemed to slow to a crawl. The world around him faded as consciousness slipped away.

As I awoke, I found myself in a vast room reminiscent of a luxurious suite, adorned with all manner of decorations and daily necessities.
Approaching a large window that opened onto a balcony, I beheld a sight that seemed lifted directly from the gameplay of 'I am on Supreme Path': a metropolitan city sprawled out before me, enveloped in lush greenery punctuated by towering trees that reached high into the sky, alongside colossal floating landmasses dotting the horizon.
The seamless blend of fantasy and modern civilization left me questioning my reality.
"Am I dreaming?"
I mused aloud before the realization struck me: "Am I inside the game 'I am on Supreme Path'?"
Uncertainty gripped me as I pondered my next course of action. After several minutes of sorting through my thoughts and hours of investigating my surroundings, I arrived at several conclusions.
Firstly, I deduced that I must have died in my previous world, likely during some sort of confrontation.
The sensation of pain confirmed that this was no dream.
If, by some unknown force or divine intervention, I had been transported into the world of "I am on Supreme Path," then this game world had become my reality.
Examining my own identity, I found myself to be an average character, lacking a strong allegiance to either side of heroism or villainy—a trait that might prove advantageous in this new world.
Reviewing my phone contacts, I discovered that my only living relative was my grandfather, a farmer residing in a distant village. Meanwhile, I had been enrolled as a student at the Supreme Battle Academy, renowned as one of the top institutions on the continent of Zenon.
Founded by one of the Supreme themselves, this academy offered unparalleled opportunities for aspiring warriors, enchanters, mages, and professionals of all kinds.
But what did it mean to be "Supreme," and what exactly were these professions?
In this world, professions functioned much like character classes in a game, encompassing roles such as warriors, magicians, thieves, and more. However, they incorporated fantastical elements such as magic, auras, runes, spells, talismans, magic engineering, summoning arts, and over a hundred other disciplines.
While some professions undoubtedly wielded immense power, none were inherently unbalanced; each came with its strengths and weaknesses.
As for the title of "Supreme," it was reserved for only the strongest four individuals in history—those who had reached the pinnacle of power and authority within their respective realms.
