Evan, packing his belongings and ready to depart, said, "Today, finally, I am going to the Academy. Well, I had already prepared the necessary things." Evan was ready to go as he came out of the building.
Marconi is ready with his splendor red car -"Bro, come quickly, I came to pick you up."
Yeah, that also, it seems after the last adventure, he became close, so I asked him why he became this friendly.
Marconi said -"Bro, you are my big brother, how can you say that, um actually, the saber is quite valuable, with my network selling it in blind Auction, it seems to catch interest with holy order, some likely related to the black king and other big names, well blood clan also desperately want it back so they bid to an astronomical level and made a huge profit and"
"And? what?" "As you said I Help the Viscount Lane Goldro, it seemed he had taken some loan to maintain his territory, One can get a recommendation from him to get a Baron position and enter the circle of the noble, and as the deal was made, I will work as a face by acquiring the noble title and help you in making sure that other will think I am investing in you"
Evan thought it made sense that generally there is no particular benefit as the baron does not own any land but a title of nobility itself may be beneficial, business does not go for a noble title to avoid kingdom obligation but it would be useful.
"Then what about auction? Do not we get traced back by these people?"
"Don't you believe in me?"
"No"
Somewhat dumbfounded, Marconi said, "It is a blind auction, and the one who organized it is under the White Magic Tower."
Evan knows the White Magic Tower, similar to other towers, comes under the jurisdiction of the Tower Master. The White Magic Tower Master has other titles like "All Elemental Archmage," "Magi King," "The One Who Attains the Ninth Circle," and "The Sage of Arcane," but one is famous: "Hydra Conqueror," Hydra who was the past Sea King of the Sea Clan which died.
Sitting in the car, they drive quickly toward the academy.
---
Evan arrived at the Academy and stopped in his tracks, taking in the sheer scale of the place. The grounds stretched so far that even with a car, it would take time to navigate. The campus was laid out like a small city, with sleek, glass-paneled buildings interspersed with wide, paved paths and green spaces. Overhead, futuristic drones buzzed by, transporting materials or scanning the area for maintenance.
At the center of the Academy stood the auditorium, a massive half-sphere of polished metal and glass. Its curved surface reflected the surrounding buildings and sky, and its design seemed to ground the campus while also drawing all attention to itself. The rest of the grounds were divided into six distinct areas, each marked by large directional signs and unique architectural styles.
To the east lay the Research Halls, a cluster of labs and workshops connected by suspended walkways. The air around it hummed faintly, likely from the experiments and machinery within.
To the south stretched the Material Crafting District, its tall chimneys and forge-like structures constantly emitting a dull glow. Artificers could be seen moving between workstations, carrying metals, gems, and other raw materials.
The Classrooms were concentrated in the northern section, arranged in a grid of medium-sized buildings. Each had wide windows and terraces, designed to let in as much light as possible, and students moved between them in steady streams.
To the west sprawled the Training Grounds, an open area segmented into smaller zones. Some were flat, barren spaces ideal for combat practice, while others featured artificial environments—dense forests, rocky crags, and even water-filled basins—for advanced training exercises.
The final areas were harder to miss. The Archives to the northeast, a rectangular building with no visible windows, loomed like a fortress. Its only entrance was flanked by statues of ancient figures holding what looked like data tablets. And far in the westernmost corner, the Restricted Zone was enclosed by high walls and warning signs, with only a single guarded gate hinting at its purpose.
A testament to the blending of magic and technology. Evan took a deep breath and stepped forward, ready to find his place.
People from various locations arrived using different modes of transportation. Eventually, an announcement was made for students to gather at the ceremony ground for the introduction to the Battle Academy. Evan followed the crowd and found a seat in the back corner on the right side, where he listened to the lengthy and dull speech.
In between the speeches, someone unexpectedly approached the stage, dressed in scholarly attire and wearing multiple gold rings on his fingers. He was none other than Hamine Dusktrail, the President of the Supreme Battle Academy.
His mere presence exerts pressure on students, even those who were previously lazy, making them fully attentive, and that's how the ceremony progressed.
Evan thought -"For him to attend this ceremony something big will happen." then afterward he called Marconi and asked -"Try to get it as soon as possible"
---
Soon after the ceremony was over he arrived at his room, every student was given a private one-person room with all furnishing and necessary equipment.
Every student has a guidance robot for general information. Evan started to get some info related to it.
"Can you explain the stages of leveling and the process involved"
"Academy follows merit-based system the international standards for ranking starting from weakest to strongest (F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, EX) where a student goes to four stages of transformation
Foundation (F, E, D) - most population lies in this stage
Core formation(C, B) - only 10% have a chance to enter this stage, one is considered elite, said to exceed the human limits
Superhuman(A, S, SS) - less than 1% make it, and all prominent figures such as army martial, king are in this stage, with power to affect the whole country,
Transcendence(SSS, EX) - one in a century can make it, possess the power to alter nature, a walking catastrophe.
Notice to Student: Tomorrow the awakener aptitude measure and tutorial dungeon is going to be conducted.
Evan thought about the Tutorial Dungeon, a place said to have existed since ancient times. Those who conquer it can obtain foundation-building techniques. However, every individual can only enter the dungeon once in their lifetime. The rewards from the dungeon vary in grade:
At most to Rare-grade, chances of a Unique grade (two grades below Legendary) technique are almost non-existent.
Despite its allure, many noble and ancient families rely on their inherited family techniques instead of the dungeon's rewards.
Since the Tutorial Dungeon is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, it offers rewards beyond just foundation techniques, making it highly sought after by every student.
The real challenge isn't the Tutorial Dungeon itself but the aptitude test conducted beforehand, which measures foundation aptitude and reveals the number of potential energy points. These points are categorized as 3-average, 5-good, 7-excellent, 9-genius, and above 10 (super), if they were to measure my potential energy points 3(soul)+7(body)+13(external) = 27 energy points -wouldn't I become the highlight of tomorrow's news, drawing everyone's attention to me?
"No, No, I have to avoid it, be low-key, only by being hidden can I avoid future dangers"
That's one of the reasons why Evan choose Primordial Core Triad Matrix, like every foundation technique unique grade and above possess a special trait, it also has its special trait.
