Chapter 34 - Chapter 32 How much is to much

"HOW ARE WE SUPOST TO FIGHT A DRAGON UP HERE?" I screamed from miles above the clouds holding on to the left wing of a blue three headed dragon. Its middle head split in two, but still moving around shooting lightning everywhere it pointed.

"How did we get into this situation again? Fighting a dragon miles in the air on New Years Eve." I said thinking back to when we first left town to head to the monster city.

.

(Day 1 of the interrupted incident)

We were walking up a man made path that was cutting though some tree's

Since we have 40 minuets or so I might as well look at the Hibiki tab again.

I pull out the gun and remembered that we still have the camera bottle in it.

"Can you." Before I finished talking Blood Stalk took the bottle and put it behind our back.

"Thanks." I said going back to the gun and click on the gear.

The microwave appears and I click a purple bottle and put it in, not really caring about it.

I then go to the Hibiki tab and go to where I was before and looked at the instructions on the table clicking around trying to find anything I could interact with.

The instructions of how to make multiple instrument themed weapons like drum sticks that can light on fire, a trumpet that is a magnum, and a guitar that controls lightning.

There are other weapons as well like a flute dart shooter, a triangle that was a three-section staff, and other similar weapons.

I take a better look around and see a holding rack of some kind and buckets of paint on the sides of the table. There were also some red looking rocks as well.

"Ah hah, something new." I said looking at them and didn't know what these were for.

Suddenly Blood Stalk grabed a tree with our left hand and pulled a chunk of wood out of it.

Before I got to question them on what they were doing they placed it behind like the camera bottle and I see a wooden block now land on the table in the screen.

"Wa, How did you know that would happen?" I asked them and and they just continued to grab chunks of wood with to our left hand.

"Well then, now that we have the wood what do we do with it?" I questioned and tried clicking on them and they just flip around. I did this for a bit until we one breaks in half and a prompt indicating something appears.

I click on the two broken pieces and we the screen transitions to a giant rock with the paint buckets and small red rocks next to it.

A tuning fork appears and turns into a long knife. I click on it and I can drag it around.

I bring it closer to the wood and a yellow line appears on it, indicating where to cut.

Seeing this and cut the wood like so. The wooden scraps fall to the side and soon a cylinder was carved.

Next, a prompt to put one of the red rocks in it appeared nd I did as it indicated.

After that a message to wrap it with some cloth.

Then, it wanted me to paint it and gave me a selection of colors. I decided to do a purple and red mix if so it would look like the actual Hibiki's weapon, I believe they were called 'Ongekibou', or was it 'Rekka'? It's hard to say for sure since I can't look it up.

Now that it seamed finished it went strait to the rack and hanged their on a wall in the screen.

"Alright, first one done. Now on to the seconded." I said since it drumsticks need to be a pair for them to work properly.

I did the same as the first time but decided to make the colors of the second one green and red. From what I remember from the Hibiki show, the sticks could rather easily break since they were made of regular wood .

It seemed like I could always make more so having multiple sticks

Blood Stalk then took out the first one and it looked really cool with the oni head at the end of the stick looking like it was glowing with the sun light passing through.

"What... is this?" Blood Stalk asked and I explained without thinking much.

"It's a drum stick that can set itself on fire if you hum at the right frequency." I said still working on making more back up drumsticks with unique color schemes. It was rather fun, almost therapeutic seeing them hang on the infinite spanning rack when finished.

As I was preoccupied with that I wasn't paying attention to anything else.

Blood Stalk was humming trying to get it to set it on fire.

About 15 minuets past and they got it to work right and now a red fire ball with a purple outline was in our left hand.

"Oh, you got it on now. Nice." I said as I stopped what I was doing and looking at the nine glowing lights.

Nine?

I the look up and see that eight of the nine lights were more on the side and we turned to look and see a horrifying monstrosity,

It had a bat head upside-down and eight spider looking eyes. I couldn't make out the rest of its body because it camouflage so well with the rest of the forest.

Before I could say or do anything else it chomped down on us and dragged us underneath the ground.

I could feel us falling with the face of the creature in front biting out chest.

I started to pistol whip it over and over again to try and break free while Blood Stalk grabed a bottle from behind.

.

Their was dirt and rubble flying in our face as we fell into the ground. Hitting rocks and bones as we went.

I couldn't tell well so I was firing the gun all over the place in a panic. I don't think I hit it, it's to fast.

The creature smashed us against the wall a few time and some of our bottles and drum sticks went flying across the room.

We kicked it in the space between the jaw and skull. We manage to break free by dislocating the jaw which is now hanging from the left now.

Blood Stalk then grabed one of the drum stick that went flying and started to hum.

The monster began to writhe in pain and seemed to be enraged.

I took out the gun again, with which I started shooting wildly and some shots hit it in its face.

It didn't seemed to care and started to charged at us.

Blood Stalk then charged at the monster with the now flaming drum stick and jumped up into it's face, slamming the fire directly into its eyes as I continued to shoot. The drum stick exploded in its face. Blood spattered across our helmet and causing the monster to twitch until it stopped moving, .

I breath a shy of relief after seeing some of the black smoke start to come out of the corps.

I reach out our left had and the smoke gathers to it like the other times we have done this.

.

"Where are we?" I asked after finally defeating this tarantula bat looking thing.

"Cave..." Blood Stalk said back very fast.

"Thanks for the observation. How do we get out of here?" I said since the entrance is covered in rubble now.

"Explode..." Blood Stalk suggested.

"No, doing that in an enclose space like this is not a good idea." I replied back and they seemed down about it.

"Maybe if we find a wider looking area we could try." I said and they seemed to cheer up as I said that.

"That monster could have done some major damage to our body." I reasoned since this has happened more than once now. Better check and make sure we weren't bleeding or anything

As Blood Stalk was going around getting our missing bottles I open the screen and look at the selection.

I went to the screen which had statistics on the suit and looked over it and there was no major damage as far as I could tell. Nothing to interact with at least.

When we got the last bottle I wanted to make a checklist of everything to make sure we weren't missing anything.

"Currently we have the Cobra, Rocket, Octopus, and Camera." I said to which Blood Stalk nodded.

"As for the old smash bottles that haven't been purified yet. There are two yellow bottles, one brown looking one, and one blue one.

"For the new ones added, there seems to be two purple, and a grey one"

"And Lastly is weapons, My main being the steam gun. Yours I believe is the steam blade. After that is the Hibiki drum sticks, and finally is the smart brain camera." I

"Well, that's everything we have for now so let's find the exit quickly and get back on track." I said as we got up to move.

"It's just a little sidetracking. It can't take to long to find our way out. Let's just pick an upward direction and Go rom their." I said feeling optimistic.

(Day 2)

"We are lost beyond belief." I said frustrated at not getting out of this enclosed space.

"What is a stupid cave doing in the middle of a pathway anyway?" I ranted as we walked around.

Thanks to the drum stick we could at least have some light to see where we were going.

We were walking for what felt like hours and haven't found anything.

After defeating that one monster we haven't so much as seen another speck of life down here.

Why is a cave network so close to a city anyway.

As we were walking we came across a discussing looking water source that green bubbles floating in it had glowing pink crystals and bones lying everywhere. There were deep holes where the water was flowing into a dark abyss below.

They looked like a beached baby whale and a bunch of broken bird skulls, along with some random human pelvises.

"That water might be bad by the looks of it and we don't even need since we can make our own, so lets keep moving." I reasoned and we started to move away from the water. I am getting some bad vibes from it.

As we did the bones around the place started to move on their own.

They started to merge into a hulking undead beast with weird fleshy bits at the joints. It had the whale skull as the head piece which seemed to look directly at us.

"WHAT!" I yelled at the sight of this.

The skeleton moved towards us and we ran away from its swipe. It continued to smash around us, destroying the ceiling letting wreckage fall onto the ground

As we try and fight this missive thing, it bights our back and start to swing us around like a rag doll. Hitting wall after wall back and forth over and over again.

We try and break free but it had wouldn't break no matter how much we hit it.

The teeth were starting to sink in to our back and I heard a squishing sound from their back their and a scream of pain.

'Ding!' A sound played

"BANG!" An explosion erupted from our back which propelled us from the creatures mouth, We fall into one of the holes that the water was flowing into and landing somewhere dark.

"You ok Blood Stalk? Blood Stalk." I get no answers and I can't get us to move.

"Please be ok. Please say something." I asked again and again with only silence as the response.

(Day 3)

I can't remember.

(Day 4)

"Finally, we are out of that stupid cave. If I never have to go into a cave again, it will be to soon." I said relieved at escaping this horrid underground lair of monsters.

Blood Stalk was looking somewhere else and not paying attention to the outside world.

"I mist you open sky." I said trying to take a breath in but unable to.

Blood Stalks is still messing with the guitar we made last night. Playing the same chords of F major to B flat, to C.

"Wait. I see something. Is that giant wall?" I asked with our right hand over our head, looking of to the distance I see a wall that seemed to be man made.

They looked over and nodded at the site of it.

"Maybe that is the city. It is at least a city. We made it." I said thinking how this adventure is almost over.

Blood Stalk started to look of to the other side and had us move into a fighting stance.

"What are you doing, the city it tha." Before I could finish my sentence a giant blue Lizard with two big wings and three heads opened it's eyes and were looking directly at us.

It uncurled its body and spread it's wigs in a majestic manner.

"I. Hate. You." I said with venom, pointing at the dragon looking creature before us that opened it's mouth, ready to devour us.

.

"Yeh, that's what happened." I said after my little reminisce time was over and the battle was continuing. I forgot what happened on the third day for the most part.

I just know we made a guitar.

"How... do we kill it?" Blood Stalk asked while gripping the guitar in our left hand.

"I don't really know or care how it's done. Lets just hit it with everything we have." I said with a vengeful look on this stupid monster flying around making me sick to my stomach.

"Ok..."
