"No..." Blood Stalk said as the beast were about half way up the wall.
"What. What do you mean 'no', we are going to die if we don't do this." I said in disbelief as this is not the time for arguing.
"I... need a blade." Blood Stalk said in a serous tone staring at the beast as they clime up the wall.
"We can get." I tried to speak but was interrupted again
"It... is our weapon." Blood Stalk stated in defiance.
"It won't be permanent, it is just for the gun to work again. I will undue it after we get it to work." I try and bargain with the stubborn person.
"Fine... how?" Blood Stalk said reluctantly.
"Split it and put the the blade in the front of the gun and the grip on the back." I said with the Beast claws approaching us.
Blood Stalk did as I instructed and we attached the blade to the front of the gun and the grip on the back rather difficultly with two people controlling different limbs.
"Rifle Mode!" The gun announced with the beast nearly reaching our feet.
I pull the trigger and a burst of three shots fired and hit the first beast, two in the tentacle and one in the head.
The first beast started to fall off the wall while the second managed to get to the top and we move back to get some distance while firing at it.
The red bullets were straight and didn't curve like last time so I didn't need to direct them.
They hit the octopus crab but it did little damage and its head started to get bigger.
It shoot us with some type of black ink and we get stuck to the ground for a moment with our vision impaired slightly.
It started its offensive and sliced our left arm with its claw.
I fired the gun and it gets hit in the mouth beak and the beast starts to emit smoke and slowly disappear.
"That's one." I said as one of the multiple creatures is dead.
"Two..." Blood Stalk said as we walked to the edge with a tree next to us, looking over it to see the first beast is slowly emitting smoke.
"Do all the beast emit smoke when they die here?" I asked as this seemed to happen with the first tiger bear beast we fought and the other junk of flesh that was in the cages.
"Smoke...?" Blood Stalk questioned back.
"Yes, the black smoke coming off of them." I said pointing to the body next to us still smoking.
"I... don't see anything." Blood Stalk said and I realize something.
"So we see different things." I said and pondered why we were seeing different things. From what I can tell Blood Stalk doesn't seem to lie or really talk unless it is important.
"This means that this smoke does something to me, but what?" I said aloud.
As we were talking, tentacles suddenly erupted from the ground and grabed us and started to pull us down.
We grabbed a nearby root and the tree falls with us down into the cave below where the third creature camouflaged with the rocks an is pulling us.
We are in its grip and I shoot with the rifle wildly while we are being swung around like a ragdoll.
Blood Stalk used the whips to slash at the tentacle to get us free and we end up slamming into the tree that fell with us, breaking it with our back a few feet away from the bottom .
"Can... we use the... Steam?" Blood Stalk ask as we continue to shoot at it to try and get it away from us with our impaired vision.
"Yes, spin the valve." I said as it started to grow more claws and let go of the wall.
"Lets... use the first one." Blood Stalk said as we aim the rifle at the third beast which is charging at us.
I try and aim at the gun and Blood Stalk used our left hand to spin the valve twice to get back to the Elek Steam.
"Elek Steam." The voice said as the beast seemed growing more arms as it fell.
We fired at the third beast and the shots had yellow lightning trailing off it and it moved in wired directions again but I can aim the bullets to hit the beast in the head and it stops moving.
"I hate this, so much." I said as black smoke appeared again so I at least know it is dead.
"Three..." Blood Stalk said as we look to the cave and see the last one there staring at us.
"One to go."
