He feels significantly calmer—indeed, much calmer. His thoughts, no longer incessantly racing, now give him the luxury of slowing down, allowing him to think with greater clarity. "Wow. Is this how normal people feel? It's absolutely wonderful and so underappreciated."

Of course, that was the case. Most people do not experience social anxiety disorder as Derek did. Therefore, when they speak of being anxious, the intensity does not parallel the overwhelming waves of anxiety that Derek faces.

With a newfound resolve, he muses, "Well, it's time to go out in public and see if the usual tension grips me." As Derek steps outside, he is greeted by a stunning revelation: he isn't caught in the throes of self-comparison, nor is he issuing silent judgments towards himself or others. There's no sign of sweaty palms, no overwhelming heat, no frantic heart palpitations; most importantly, he can think clearly. Overjoyed by this transformation, Derek recognizes the immense value of his revelation.

if the system was a god he was now a devote follower.

Derek peered curiously at the 'mission's window,' a hint of a smirk playing on his lips. "Let's see," he mused, the thrill of possibility evident in his voice, "if three points can make such a difference, just imagine what I might achieve with five extra points."

His smirk widened into a grin as he contemplated his next move. "I'm going to tackle the challenge where I kiss a girl. I want those points," he announced with a blend of eagerness and anticipation. It was a bold statement, especially considering such a feat seemed utterly foreign to Derek's reality.

However, none of that mattered now. Armed with his revelation, Derek felt an invincible tide within him, as if he could conquer the world. It was crucial to understand that even though this was a fantasy world revelations were rare and custom made once like Derek's were rarer still, this was also one of the things that made derek feel content with his revelation.

The mere thought that he was a mere handful of points away from altering any aspect of his existence filled Derek with an electrifying excitement. His revelation wasn't just a source of power—it was a promise of transformation, and Derek was ready to embrace it fully.

Before Derek could carry out his mission, he had to do some research. He was looking for an environment that would make it easier to finish this quest. Mind you, Derek was an 18-year-old nerd who didn't get out much, so the best he could come up with was going to a club. He remembered a time in high school when a guy he knew boasted about how he got laid at a club and how all the girls there were so easy. a place Derek had wanted to visit someday, should he ever feel comfortable enough among strangers. Today, he resolved to take that step. So, Derek got dressed and left for the club.

Upon arrival, Derek joined the bustling line outside the club. After the bouncer granted him entry, he stepped inside and surveyed the lively crowd. He thought about how his former self would have been overcome with anxiety, compelled to flee the scene. However, instead of anxiety, Derek was filled with excitement. He even entertained the thought that he might get lucky that night. "Who's going to assist me with today's mission?" he mused, looking around to find a girl to approach. His eyes searched for someone who appeared friendly and non-intimidating. 'Um, she looks friendly and pretty too,' he thought, allowing a smile to spread across his face.

What Derek was about to attempt for those five points was totally new to him, but it didn't matter; he was hooked on the thrill. Approaching the girl, he mustered his courage and said, "Hi."
