The wall cracked akin to a cobweb with one punch, but Aeron didn't throw the second punch.
Instead, he moved back two meters and conjured his FlameBow before pulling the string.
'Hmm, 200 spirit energy into rock energy and Emitting it forward in the shape of a spike. Yep, that would be best,' Aeron thought before he pulled the string as a brown arrow condensed on the string.
He infused 500 curse energy to Enchant the arrow before releasing it.

The arrow shot forward and struck the wall before destroying it. Upon impact, the arrow expanded into a three-meter-long spike with a meter-wide base width and a sharp point at the front.
Aeron saw the scenery inside and surprisingly saw a furry humanoid with a goat head and human middle body standing on two goat legs, looking muscled and strong.
Since it was standing two meters behind the wall, the Earth Spike directly went to the Goat-head Haunt. However, it had a wooden staff in its hand that shone as the Haunt swiftly struck the Earth Spike.

The Haunt was pushed back a meter, but the Earth spike was destroyed into bits.
Meanwhile, Aeron was already using Focus and also expanded his Field to a 5-meter radius around him. It was enough and consumed less energy.
He consumed 9 Spirit energy for Veil and 1000 curse energy for Enchant to use 10x Fortify on him.

The dust settled after that Earth Spike clash, and Aeron immediately felt the Haunt's power weaving in his Field.
He swiftly jumped up and forward in an arc while an Earth spike released from the ground on his previous spot.

Aeron landed five meters away to the left of the Haunt. Behind him was the metal fence of the big garden with a multitude of plants and an array of trees.
The Goathead Haunt growled at Aeron, its four eyes gleamed and changed constantly among red, green, blue, and brown.

The wind rustled as Aeron saw four nearly invisible with faint green hue blades forming around the Goathead Haunt before shooting towards him.
Aeron's eyes glinted as he opened his mouth and crudely released a Flamebreath by Transmuting 200 spirit energy into Flame and boosting it by 1000 curse energy before Emitting it from his mouth while his hands used FlameBow and pulled the string.
Coming into contact with wind blades, the flames Aeron released burned brighter by consuming wind as fuel and continued towards the Goathead.
[That was a good idea. That wind had oxygen and flame intensity was higher, so it won by consuming wind. But I hope you did that with calculation and not randomly because this won't work every time.]
'Of course, honey,' Aeron grinned and released a Flame Arrow towards the Haunt, who easily dodged his Flame Breath.

Aeron also used Shortbow this time for medium-range combat. Longbow was not suitable here.
The arrow was torn through the air and sound barrier with a boom, not giving any time for the Haunt to react as it struck the Haunt's furry chest.

"Raaaaaa!" The Haunt was hurled back while enveloped in an explosion, injuring him significantly.
'C+ Offense, alright!' Aeron laughed and released another arrow before the Haunt could get up.

However, Aeron suddenly felt something, but it was too late as vines entangled his legs.

He tried exerting his strength to break the vines, but he could only do that for one second before he felt another danger.
His brain's gears moved fast as he consumed an extra 1000 curse energy on his legs and everything below his waist to Fortify himself further.

From beneath him, a burst of water geyser shot up with bubbling hot water.

Meanwhile, the Haunt was already severely injured by the previous two Flame Arrows. Especially the last one since it was the 3rd Arrow in order and dealt the highest damage. That was why the Goathead retaliated swiftly to attack Aeron.
Aeron's face and skin turned red due to heat, but he didn't lose his target and released the third arrow right while he was airborne after the Goathead Haunt stood up.

The arrow shot forward, but the injured Haunt angrily roared and created a condensed round Earth shield right before the arrow could hit it.
'Going into defensive? Perfect,' Aeron grinned, his ferocious as he immediately released two more Flame Arrows at once the moment he landed on the ground.

The Goathead Haunt's shield broke as it saw Aeron grinning and on the verge of releasing his third arrow.
It raised his staff and was about to enact one more defense…alas, Aeron released his 3rd step arrow, the fastest and strongest.

A loud contained explosion occurred and after a short death cry, everything turned silent in this hidden area.
Aeron put away the bow before stretching his arms and removing his t-shirt. His skin was not burned or damaged, but the intense heat of the hot water made it red.
"How do I advance my Fortify?" Aeron asked as he walked to the spot where the Goathead Haunt died and saw a shining orb with black, blue, green, brown, and red colors whirling in it.
[When you apply Fortify, you have to Manipulate its structure by using extra Spirit energy. This is advanced Fortify. I don't need to tell you more, right?]
'Gotcha.'
Aeron put the Haunt core into his Phantom Spark's storage and looked around for staff but didn't find it.
"It seems like that Staff was a part of it."
[Yeah. That was basically its Phantom Ability.]
"Then next is…"Aeron turned around and looked at the garden behind the fence in this closed cavern, and his eyes shone upon seeing the resources. "Why do I feel like we got a damn good loot?"
Lapis also grinned widely. [That's a damn good loot indeed.]
Aeron went inside and looked around, counting ten trees and fifty plants—All being Mystic resources of Grade 3 and below!
"I can't put all of them in my Inventory," Aeron looked at his Phantom Spark panel. Seeing the Phantom Points, he wryly smiled, "I have 1.1k Phantom points and we forgot to upgrade the Phantom Spark."
Lapis nodded. [Yes. Upgrade it right away. It should increase storage space.]
