Aeron saw two more black claw projectiles coming at him, but he easily dodged both projectiles by swiftly jumping forward and landing before stomping on the ground with his full strength as he crashed forward into the black specter.
'So let's see…If I want to attack while inside Vitalis Aegis, I can use Emission some way from outward.'

The black specter was shot into the wall upon receiving the powerful tackle, but it wasn't injured at all. Floating up, it screamed towards Aeron by opening its mouth so wide that a football would fit it.
"Ew, it smells terrible. Can you close your mouth please?"
However, Aeron only received a burst of black beads with green sparks from its mouth.
With a distance of 20 meters between them, Aeron easily dodged the attack by moving to the side with Gale Strider.
But those black beads made holes in the rocky surface with acidic power.
[That attack is a bad match with Vitalis Aegis. Be careful. It's powerful enough to penetrate it.]

Aeron swiftly moved zig-zag as he continued to dodge the constant bullet attacks without using Gale Strider by using up all the stored propelling force in his legs thanks to the Gale Strider's cursed oath effect.
Meanwhile, he was also cooking up the way to seriously hurt this Haunt.
The outer barrier of Vitalis Aegis started changing as he Transmuted it into the flame barrier and infused 100 extra spirit energy, increasing the flame amount.
He then Enchanted the flame barrier by using 1000 curse energy, making it stronger to increase the flame power.
Aeron was doing this while dodging the attacks with ease.
Since this cavern had plenty of space, he maintained a sufficient distance from the Haunt while dodging and running.
*Scree!*
"STOP RUNNING!"
Aeron laughed and said, "Fine."
He closed in the distance since he had designed an attack. Upon seeing that, the specter's red eyes glinted and it raised its head above before screeching.
Aeron had already arrived within 2 meters of the Haunt and his Flame Barrier extended five sharp spikes outward at the front. If he tackled the black specter with this speed, he would seriously hurt it for sure.
Alas, with that black specter's scream, a black forcefield suddenly expanded from the Haunt, striking Aeron as he was blasted several meters away.
"Tsk," Aeron narrowed his eyes and slapped the ground as he swiftly activated the wind tubes to spin-roll to the side. At his previous position, the ground was punctured with tiny melting holes right after he dodged.
The barrier remained intact but its energies were consumed by half, though Aeron remained wholly uninjured.
He added 150 spirit energy to make the barrier strong again. The Enchant was already applied, so he didn't need to add it extra.
"Please die!" the specter screamed and waved its claws, releasing claw projectiles.
'It's time this thing dies,' Aeron narrowed his eyes.
He changed his previous attack design and maintained ten meters of distance before releasing his attack.
'Flame Darts!'
The outer flame barrier shone before it released palm-lengthed sharp flame darts shaped by Aeron using Emission.
The black specter also tried to move away, but out of the five Flame Darts, two of them struck its chest, burning and injuring it.
[Good.]
The battle continued and Aeron continuously injured it while dodging its attacks. His accuracy with Emission and the power of Flame Darts increased as he became more proficient in creating the darts.
On the verge of death, the black specter released its attack by using up its power, hurling a super fast blast sphere that struck Aeron squarely.
It was fast and struck the Vitalis Aegis, dissipating the barriers while blasting Aeron into the wall. He was not injured at all since Vitalis Aegis blocked the attack.
The battle finally came to an end as the Haunt dissipated and transformed into a Haunt core.

Since Aeron kept the Purify of Phantom Spark activated after it upgraded, the 50% chance to form Haunt core triggered and he got the Haunt core.
"Nice. I don't need to deactivate Phantom Spark's purify anymore," Aeron grinned as he picked up the Haunt core and put it inside the inventory.
