"We're almost there, General."
Oktavianus's voice was heard from outside the General's carriage.
Daemond turned his head towards the window. The residence of Vale's District Chief, Timothy Lanisius, was already visible.
As expected, Timothy's death ceremony attracted the attention of many. It was not only attended by officials and residents of Vale but also by people from surrounding areas. It would be interesting to see who was present, Daemond thought.
The carriage stopped right in front of the late Timothy's house.
Oktavianus stepped down from his horse and hurriedly opened the carriage door for the General.
Daemond stepped out. Accompanied by Octavianus and some of the royal soldiers, he then walked into the residence of the late District Chief of Vale.
