Octavianus still remembered clearly when he first started to feel something different. He was just a new soldier at the time. A foolish 18-year-old boy. He was polishing his boots at the edge of the barracks field when the General passed by.
"Soldier, accompany me to training," the man ordered in his stiff-sounding voice.
Octavianus turned his head around, unsure if he was the one the General was talking to. But it was the heat of the day. Most of the soldiers took shelter in their rooms to avoid the heat and Octavianus was the only one on the field. Realizing that he was the one being ordered, Octavianus nervously nodded and stood up.
