Lady Iris sighed, unable to express what she was feeling after hearing Calista's words. However, she still needed to continue with the conversation. So, she asked, "So where are you staying currently?"
Seeing the change of topic, Calista didn't mind much and responded, "Next door," while looking in the direction of the inn.
When Lady Iris heard that, she looked at the other with sparkling eyes. She didn't expect that Calista would be staying there.
"That's good. It's pretty near and convenient. Since we have met today, how about we become friends though it might be for a short time?" Lady Iris excitedly suggested.
Calista looked at the woman with a smile on her face thinking to herself how easy everything was going.
"Sure. Besides, why say for a short time? We might not be able to see each other in a long time but does that make a friendship vanish?"
