These tactics normally wouldn't need to be explained; she could have jumped straight to assault rifles. But after listening to Shana's account of last night's battle, Maya thought the less noisy pistol was more practical than the assault rifle in certain aspects. Though the assault rifles were powerful, they cost more. Moreover, in complex terrain, where close combat was common, pistols were more practical than rifles.
