At midnight, Claudia Ross finally saw the approaching car lights.
She hurriedly put on her robe and ran downstairs, as Wyatt Perry's car had already entered the estate, stopping at the garage door.
When Wyatt Perry got out of the car and saw Claudia Ross, he asked in surprise, "Why haven't you gone to sleep?"
"How could I sleep without you back? Thank heavens, I thought something happened to you. I was scared to death."
Claudia Ross threw herself at a cold and clean Wyatt Perry, "You said you'd come back for dinner at six o'clock. If you can't make it back because something came up, at least let me know, or else I'll worry."
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again."
With Wyatt Perry admitting his mistake in such a good manner, Claudia Ross didn't press the point further, "Where were you tonight?"
"I'll tell you the truth, just don't get angry," Wyatt Perry said with worry in his eyes.
"Mhm, go ahead, I won't get angry."
