*Hendrix's POV*
"Oh fuck no." I groaned.
The Queen of the Siren Kingdom was walking gracefully to my new hideout.
It wasn't an effective one since it belonged to her son, but I at least expected to have at least a week's rest before I had to move again.
Silvia caught my eye from the glass window and returned a bright smile to my very obvious frown.
I drew the curtains and sat to finish my meal, or whatever the hell you would call cold soup and a loaf of bread. That was a day of growing stale. I was living like a peasant—an annoyed, bored peasant.
I didn't know exactly what my plan was at this point. Silvia had seen my face, and very soon there would be a pounding on the door. I specifically told Charles not to tell anyone that I was here, but here he was even leading her here.
The knocks came in.
They were three.
curious, loud and demanding.
